An alternative installation method is to copy the SL-Avatar and 00000 @ _SUPERIOR LIBRARIES and [email protected] - AVATAR folders in the following ways:
C \ Program Files (x86) \ Common Files \ Toontrack \ EZDrummer \ (copy here folder SL-Avatar) (The location of this folder can be anything, so you can copy it wherever you want)
C \ Program Files (x86) \ Common Files \ Toontrack \ EZDrummer \ Midi \ (copy here folder 00000 @ _SUPERIOR LIBRARIES)
C \ Program Files (x86) \ Common Files \ Toontrack \ EZDrummer \ Midi \ (copy here folder [email protected] - AVATAR)

If I am correct this will only install the Avatar (about 18GB).
Allaire (about 7GB) and HitFactory (nearly 4GB) are on Vol. 2, but please correct me if I am wrong.

Stating that this is for Superior Drummer 3 is false advertising. These are SD2 kits, only the Avatar kit will work correctly on SD3 right now, and that needs the update from elsewhere on this site.

I'm not sure that "false advertising" is a claim that can be made when you're not making a purchase.

I beg to differ, it has nothing to do with making a purchase, the title is misleading and clickbait to drive downloads. If somebody was advertising a free box of DVDs but after driving 17 miles to pick them up you discovered it was a box of VHS videos, I'm guessing you wouldn't be best pleased...

For some weird reason, toontrack made sure that sd3 isn't backward compatible with sd2 and it sucks big time.
Why do we have to re-download this library if we already have it: it wasn't possible to make a patch of a few mb instead of all these gb of files?

You only need the update not the content absolutely no need to feed the money chasing wolf by dl this.
The content is the same only the graphic has change.
The update is already released here just search but some people did have some trouble with the installer but you can move the update filen in the installer manually.
