This sounds pretty bad, I deleted it after an hour or so. DTS neural upmix (original, not waves edition) is better.

it depends.

i need a perfectly extracted center, i need parameters like diversion setable, i need something that sounds good and wide when i switch off that pescy reverb...
(and the pescy reverb should be switchable)

oh, and the foldback to stereo should sound as if nothing happened..

dts: i hate what they do to the center. and theres nothing i can do about it.
is there even one single parameter i can set? (besides Bass management On/off)

halo: tweakable settings, but sounds bad and phasey as hell

waves um: when i heard that i felt like they were joking.

Give it another try, take some time to get to know what the parameters do.
Knowing DTS and Anymix i can tell you that you definitely can make it sound like the competition if you like to.

IOSONO: When the back sounds about the same as the front, and it has worse SQ than matrix decoders, you've got a problem.

I'm not reeally caring about exact stereo downmix, as you're 1ly upmixing, and you should care about a good upmix 1st, 2ch 2nd. Although good upmixers should make a downmix sound acceptable. I've found that good upmix is exclusive to an exact downmix, due to width of rears.
