Absolute Pitch, also know as Perfect Pitch, is the ability to recognize notes by ear. This skill is fundamental to all musicians, just as learning the alphabet is fundamental to anyone who reads and writes. Absolute Pitch is essentially a mapping between the sound you hear in your mind, and the corresponding note on the instrument. All great composers had Absolute Pitch, including Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and Beethoven.Contrary to popular belief, Absolute Pitch is not a talent that a person is born with. It can be developed over time if done with the right methodology. Absolute Pitch Trainer™ embodies that methodology.

YOUR WAY TO ABSOLUTE PITCH
Absolute Pitch Trainer™ software uses a specialized algorithm which gradually builds your Absolute Pitch skill level to 100%. Users start out with learning one note, which is played an equal amount of times across all octaves of the piano keyboard. The software constantly gauges your progress, and adds a second note when you are ready for it. This process gradually continues until the entire 12 notes of the chromatic scale are added, and being played across all octaves of the piano. Or, you can manually choose which notes to train.

COLOR HINTS
Studies have shown that color tone can be used as a mnemonic device to memorize musical tone. Absolute Pitch Trainer™ has a feature called color hint, which when enabled, displays respective colors for each note played.

MIDI AND GRAPHICAL KEYBOARD
You can interface with Absolute Pitch Trainer™ by using the built in virtual keyboard by pointing and clicking on the right note with your mouse. Alternatively, you can also use your MIDI keyboard by plugging it into your computer via the USB port. Pressing the keys on your MIDI keyboard will register with the software, just the same as if you were using the built in virtual keyboard.

Try Absolute Pitch Trainer and see how it works right now.

If you get an absolute pitch using this, please let me know.

The only thing I didn't like is that my PC has absolute antivirus and detected like perfect pitch a malware in winar, I do not understand why this file has to have an executable file to read: 'URET NFO v2.2.exe'.
Anyway, I was not really into it.

Yeah, apparently it's impossible for humans, past the age of 5-6
Without faith nothing is possible. With it, nothing is impossible.

I was, honestly, born with perfect pitch. My grandmother had a Grand Piano in her living room, and I used to go to it and play simple songs in perfect sequence - at 5 or 6. I thought everyone had this ability, and couldn't understand why people had such difficulty remembering sequences of sounds in the correct order - or to whistle them after one hearing. My cousins went to Juliard. I went to the streets of Detroit, being from a poor family and born to 'the black sheep."
But eventually, I learned that all instruments were perfectly logical in their sequence of sounds (pitches), and after running through brass instruments, woodwinds, and strings, settled on the guitar. But none were difficult, and I didn't learn to read the Treble Clef until I went to band class in the 11th grade and learned to play the Trombone - the notes all had notation. I'm not sure learning to read it ever really helped me, but it was interesting. Even today, at 66, I only need to hear a song once, and I can repeat it with near-perfect precision.
I wish this gift for everyone, and hopes this helps everyone.
If this gives this to others, good - but I think it's possible that it is some kind of genetically-passed-on trait.

Your absolute ear is connected to the affection both by your mother and her piano, the environment in which you lived, and it happens in early childhood. Many of the auditory cells are in the ear itself, and full hearing extends to the brain.

The absolute ear is not generated by genetic factor, DNA, and the mind can store a certain number of notes, words, numbers and then forget.

Anyone who has an absolute ear can not explain how the sound reaches the brain and is decoded into a note name, nor did neuroscience get there.

Whoever has absolute taste, can only feel for himself. That's right I said, absolute taste, we all have this ability, so try to explain the taste of coffee, now try to write the flavor of the pineapple. Therefore, you can only feel what you have experienced your own, but, not always accurately describe.

Nice reply, and very interesting research. It's correct that every time I begin to play a new instrument, my fingers seem st know where to place themselves, and my lips and other muscles seem to know instinctively what to do. Seldom have I ever looked at the details of the instrument itself.
I have the feeling that it is within the power of most humans to exercise this 'talent,' or gift - it only requires not believing it is impossible to master or learn, and connect to a higher place of where music really comes from (pure vibratory motion).
Interesting that the age you speak of also corresponds with the human "language Acquisition Development Period," when humans find it easily natural to suddenly begin to increase their vocabulary and comprehension, and association of words to feelings and objects.
Anyway, thanks for your feedback.

Gz, but I bet PP has absolutely nada to do with the creative process. Did it help you write music? Do you have any best-selling records? I'm sure it's nice to have, and you seem very proud, but in the end, so many other factors count, I guess.
