What makes it the protection "shitty?" I'm just curious why you would say that.
"Shitty" from the perspective of the end-user, or"shitty" because it is purposely kept simple, making for a fast, lightweight and uncomplicated plug-in, and quick to install?
They seem like a a well-meaning, customer-centered developer, and I'm grateful to be able to use these, several of which are free at their site, for only a registration.
They are all quite good.
The remark is a little confusing.

It looks like they've purposely tried to keep it simple, which is actually pretty unusual.
From their site:
" WHY ANOTHER LICENSING SYSTEM?
With all due respect to their creators, we've come to the conclusion that hardware based copy protection solutions are anything but user-friendly. Having to carry two or more dongles on your keychain is an annoyance, but have you ever experienced the loss of one of them? Being required to install extra license management software or drivers isn't particularly encouraging, either. Our goal when creating our own license service was to keep things as simple as possible: Just install the software, enter your credentials and you're ready to go. No more time wasted for annoying license download or activation procedures.
Software copy protection may not be famous for being unbreakable. But, of course, we don't support crack-users and we trust our customers just like we hope they trust us. So we came up with the idea of simply embedding our license service into our plug-ins, enabling you to activate all of them online in just a few clicks." Nice.

Why Canary and The Canary twice in description?

New Blueface SC-5 is an emulation of Ashly SC-50 Blueface Compressor
Changelog possibly can be found in installers, especially in original ones. Often bundle is updated too, with existing plugins, not only "added new plugin". Sometimes updates include stability and bugfixes for existing products.

This is a great compressor, sounds good on almost anything and the intro price is great. These guys are quickly becoming one of my favorite plugin makers. Thanks a lot Black Rooster and V.R. for the extended trials.

Presswerk uses 4-5% of my CPU and each plugin by BRA uses 18-24% CPU. BTW my pc is slower than the most.
