Even add post-cabinet mic preamps, and control both chains with the virtual A/B/Y box. Another big challenge from R2R!

POD Farm is not protected by PACE-Wrapper nor WrapWarden. It means there are
no strong anti-debug functions in the binary. However, the virtual gears in
the additional modules are encrypted. If you just bypass the license check,
those additional modules does not process the sound at all.

We injected additinal code to software to make decryption working without
any access to iLok. The content decryption will work like the legit version.

i know line6 hardware produces sound that is nearly impossible to make sit in a mix and it is mostly used by ppl who can't afford real amps & good pedals..

so, what does this worth and how does it sound compared to all amps by UAD and Scuffham vst amp ?

I actually comapered all ampsim i have (no uad but all other) same settings thrue the same matching cab IR and they sound very similar.

I'm still a BIG Line6 detractor. i prefer my Tonelab LE by a long margin...and it is OLD.
BUT Line6 started making things "serious" with HD line.

Scuffham is good, but for crunch. Line6 is good for modern metal higain (example). Not Schuffham.

Just do it the same way than me : take good free and professional DI guitar tracks.
Disable integrated cab sim, use the same external cab sim.
And compare by ears ;)

I dropped a lot of sims doing so. I kept Amplitube, some Lepou and some more.
Dropped Peavey, Guitar Rig...

No one can compare for you :D

Sorry pal but that's a ridiculous comment and quite simply untrue. As a mixing engineer I see how many people use Line 6 hardware effectively on a regular basis and I ALWAYS make it sit in the mix. Fair enough, the budget Line 6 hardware is noticeably different to their premium products such as the excellent Helix board (check it out) but that's the case for all manufacturers. However, just because someone can "afford real amps & good pedals" doesn't automatically give them a decent tone and ultimately the quality of sound of a given guitar/amp/pedal combination resides firmly in the fingers of the guitarist using them.

Hmmm,
These encrypted binaries are forcing r2r, audioutopia and other amazing code wizards to take different approaches when trying to bypass these complex copy protection schemes.

We all remember the great nfo on the latest xils-labs releases from r2r, where they explain that the same way we can't open a rar file without the password, encrypted binaries on softs like cubase and nexus can't be decrypted and bypassed with current methods, without the right password.

Cracking this encrypted soft must be a great achievement, as R2R seem very proud of it !

maybe the new techniques and knowledge will allow them to crack a bunch of previously uncrackable apps.

This is old, the amps distortions on high gains aren't that good these days, but on cleaner sounds its very good, also the modulation effects are good, I think ill use this for effects unit with S-gear Thanks R2R

Thats what i do. The Pedals are really well. A nice collection of effects. I use them to feed another amp sim and cab sim.
