Hello team R2R: This and many other Plug-Ins can be cracked from inside without having the need of using Keygens. Why are you so stuck in your old tracks? Keygens anyway often don't work with updates...so it's a waste of time. This is just my sincere opinion, not everybody has to like it.

By supplying keygens, R2R is challenging other Teams and the developers that they can crack that software in a much better and difficult way.

Keygens gives us legit feeling.

I like Keygens and Licensers! And in opposition to Kookaboo I actually think they work better ESPECIALLY for updates compaered to pre-patches binaries!

Let me add this: This Plug-In can be cracked so easily...the amount of time & efforts to make a Keygen for it is simply exaggerated! I understand R2R approach for RSA protected or C/R protected Plug-Ins, but not for simple (old) Serial scheme protection.

Crack it the way you want to crack it, and share it in that form, or don't. The amount of time you spent addressing something of little importance like this also surpasses the time it would take you to do it according to you. Test the waters and share it your way if you think it would be preferable among others.

About the plugin: It would have be great to have the possibility to engage an EQ between the 2 compressors, even a simple one.

I really dont care for easy or hard cracks as long as the wares work stable and provides quality thats all that matter to me. Not much quality lately just a lot of the same stuff over and over again, maybe some skilled groups like to look into oddity 2 or synthmaster latest update or maybe serum or falcon or maybe the untouchable nexus. what i'm saying is do we really need another reverb or compressor? we have a trillion of those already and really good ones too, maybe it has to be more about quality releases instead of quantity. maybe easy cracks say a lot about the software it self. the best are a lot harder to overcome.And no i'm not skull fucking R2R i respect those guys for what they did in the past years.Peace out.

I accept your points of view and respect R2R too - but i just critic their repetitive attitude of keygenning where there would be no need for it! It's clear that the lack of diverse crack-Teams has an impact on the final releases...on the quantity...not on the quality. The more crack-Teams exist and are active - the more the chances raise to get harder stuff unlocked.

What about to build a 'FX Chain' where you would load a first instance of 'Venomode Complexer' in 'Serial' Mode, add your desired 'EQ(s)', then load a second instance of Venomode Complexer' afterward (always in 'Serial' Mode) to get Equalization between both Engines...
As at a first glance, you can't to 'bypass' one of the two Compressor Engines, simply set one of these to its minimal settings (e.g. 'Compressor 1' : your desired settings, 'Compressor 2' : minimal settings), then the second on the 'FX Chain' (e.g. 'Compressor 1' : minimal settings, 'Compressor 2' : your desired settings).

Of course, you'll not get the 'famous' 'NY Parallel' Compression with that method for the same Plugin instance, but you can get that effect by using the same Plugin through 2 Tracks (one on each Track).

Yes, I know there's a work around, and I could do this with what ever a compressor then, including parallel compression using a bus. But when a good plugin like this come out, I cant help to see how could it be almost perfect with this "little " added EQ, so you could save settings as one preset (I know there is a work around for this too LOL ).

Obviously I recognize that this is a bit pretentious from me, as I have no idea how complex it would be to add an EQ not to say about the cpu load.

I don't think it's pretentious Olymoon, I think it's a reasonable request that I don't think would add a lot to the cpu load, (I mean c'mon, him much cpu does an "uncolored" eq take, like eq8 or whatever..).... I tend to always eq between compressors, as I personally like to have control of what frequencies I compress! I'm sure if they are smart they will add a simple eq in-between the stages, that would absolutely be of help (ESPECIALLY in NY/Parallel Compression, which this is promoting itself to be a great plug for!)

This is the best compressor ever. <-- fullstop. I'm ditching all those poor IKM, Klanghelm, and TDR compressors in favour of this one. Great work! A parallel compressor, how come nobody thought of that before?

SineWave, there is a lot of stuff that TDR want to implement to their Kotelnikov compressor, next updates will be as new features, not just fixing old existing features. And they are working on a new "super" Kotelnikov with features like upward, downward, compression, expansion and more. As well as updates for Nova, eqs... Not tested Venomode complexer yet, but their maximal is shitty, it colours and pumps the sound than makes louder..

It is only for x64 Hosts I suppose, Because is not showing in Ableton 32 bits plugin directory.

no, it's x86 too... so, i dont want sound obvious but... did you check-mark'd the 32bit option and routed it to your VSTs directory during the setup? i'm saying this because, if you are runnin' a 64bit OS, the 32bit may be deselected by default in the installer

is just an impression o' mine or this plugin sounds bad?
i mean, i tried it on a couple of instances and it tends to distort (read it colours, if you prefeer...) even on "basic" settings

Heads Up: So far this plugin doesn't recall the (Type: Peak, RMS, Average) whether it be saving and reloading a preset, or saving and reloading a project. On project reload the type automatically reverts to "Peak" on comp 1 & 2. Tested with Win7 Ult x64 and Studio One v3 x64.

It's a good idea: two parallel compressors! By varying the timings, we could get nice results By cons, I do not see the point about the serial mode.
But, if the plugin doesn't reload its settings from one session to another, this is crap.
