Metaplugin is a plugin that loads other plugins. As simple as that. Build your own effect networks using any VST/VST3 (and AU, if you're on Mac) effect you already have on your harddisk. To get you started, a Mid-Side matrix and a fourband crossover filter are included in the package. This means instant mid-side or multiband compression/distortion/reverb/... you name it.

Supports up to eight individual channels for, e.g. surround or other multichannel purposes.
- Dry/wet ratio can be adjusted for each loaded plugin.
- Full plugin delay compensation is included.
- Negligible additional CPU overhead.
- Synths can also be loaded and played with any MIDI control.
- 2x-oversampling option of the whole signal chain is available.
- 32-bit-plugins can be loaded into the 64-bit version of Metaplugin using JBridge/JBridgeM. Very useful for LogicX and ProTools11!
- Can be used as a VST-AU-wrapper, a VST-RTAS-wrapper, an AU-RTAS-wrapper, VST-AAX wrapper or an AU-AAX wrapper
- VST3 plugins now supported, so VST3-AU-wrapping, VST3-RTAS-wrapping and VST3-AAX-wrapping is also included

Yes it is 2.6.1 but it was originally released as 1.6.1 (typo). In addition it was DND (Do Not Distribute), so they kept the same typo not to confuse you.

Thx for the info, sotho. The funny thing is that's what confused me. I kept saying, "I have version 2.5.1, so why am I seeing an older version posted more recently?" So I went to DDMF's site to check and all was good.

This just shows how much of a class act R2R really is. One of their releases gets out in the open sooner than they originally planned and (maybe as a result) it doesn't function properly. Yet, because it did get out into the open they fix it anyways just to make sure people aren't being bothered by inconveniences by the plug-in not working like it should.

On a little side-note, this seems like a really solid alternative to FL Studio Patcher if you aren't an FL Studio user. This one sneaked past me the first time around but I'm thinking about trying this because there are a few things Patcher in FL Studio can do that are very hard and cumbersome to achieve within Ableton racks. This could be exactly the solution I was looking for.

Ok, we are now ready and prepared to expect a new releases stop, but what about the leak reasons and related measures?
I'm not looking for blame or guilty, this is is a warez site in competition with other, I'm only wondering it was found a way to respect the will of our main resource........
