Alchemy Player is a free software instrument with an inspiring sample library and instrument sounds including evolving soundscapes, lush pads, and pulsing arpeggios. Built with the award winning Alchemy engine under the hood, it provides ready to play sounds that can be easily tweaked from the intuitive interface. It can also load any SFZ sample library.

This release is part of a community effort to collect all official v1.50 soundbanks for the discontinued plugin Alchemy by CamelAudio.

This expanded version of AlchemyPlayer contains the original unmodified installer as taken from Computer Music magazine. In place of the limited Player soundbank it contains the 6GB soundbank from the full version of Alchemy. The presets have been modified to remove all user data and all 800+ are modified for Player compatibility.

By including the full sample content, this version of Player is compatible with any official v1.50 soundbank including all of those within the community collection project.

At the time of release, the collection is incomplete. Please see the related soundbank download for details of what's missing and how you can contribute.

better browser and faster loading, arent there more as 6GB? because i have 12GB or was it 14GB in my Alchemy folder.

in 1.55, i used the player version a lot since my alchemy 1.55 didnt work well with some assign sound packs.
havnt used alchemy in a long time. might need to get it again, its perfect for pads.

so i would def upgrade.

Thank you, you must know a great deal of things about this instrument. And in terms of functionality (functions), what will I lose if I switch from Alchemy 1.25 by ASSiGN to this release? Thanks in advance...
P.S. Sorry for asking, I would have checked the comparison chart "Synth vs. Player" at the Camel Audio website, but since the site is down due to the company's closure, I cannot do so...

Thanks for upload! But yeah, is it basically just a striped down Player version of Alchemy where you can't modify patches/change soundsources/parameters or is it fully functional? The word expanded is just misleading me here so I ask before I remove the previous 1.25. Thanks!

The assign versions won't work with this without being modified, the banks that will be released soon will all be compatible with this and legit Alchemy 1.55

i dont get it, "keyfile liscence not found", wont play anything...lost half of my previous soundsets as well...also player shows as demo

the normal when the presets are not well edit (removed userdata, etc)
always backup stuff before install new things.
