Alchemy Player is a free software instrument with an inspiring sample library and instrument sounds including evolving soundscapes, lush pads, and pulsing arpeggios. Built with the award winning Alchemy engine under the hood, it provides ready to play sounds that can be easily tweaked from the intuitive interface. It can also load any SFZ sample library.

This release is part of a community effort to collect all official v1.50 soundbanks for the discontinued plugin Alchemy by CamelAudio.

This expanded version of AlchemyPlayer contains the original unmodified installer as taken from Computer Music magazine. In place of the limited Player soundbank it contains the 6GB soundbank from the full version of Alchemy. The presets have been modified to remove all user data and all 800+ are modified for Player compatibility.

By including the full sample content, this version of Player is compatible with any official v1.50 soundbank including all of those within the community collection project.

At the time of release, the collection is incomplete. Please see the related soundbank download for details of what's missing and how you can contribute.

not possible, because both version use the same folders for settings, browser data and stuff. keep one and delete the older one.

If the old libraries work in the new player, then all we have to do is copy the old libraries to the new player's folder/s(?)

Sorry but I don't get it, how to install. I backed up old library, so only had to reinstall 1.25 and copy everything back to use Alchemy. I f anybody can explain how to make it work, please do.

It crashes on 10.11.1 - Logic Pro X 10.2. No sounds show.

Update: They work now. The reason I download this because the v.2 presets are not exactly the same and some of my old projects with the 1.25 would work.

Why would you want this if you have the Logic's version of Alchemy?

There's a whole load of v1.50 soundbanks coming, this is here so people without Alchemy can use them.

Great share but i have the "old" version inc. expansion packs. If i understand right this is only with the factory pack included? So the other packs cant be used with this version?I'll check this out later when i have more time to focus.

Installs fine but all presets show up as 'available to buy', not loading any presets at all. What now? AAZ files don't show up as anything in the player.

It sounds like you have installed the samples but not copied the enclosed presets folder over.

I not only copied the presets over correctly but also hit rescan from the GUI and still no presets load. I wonder if it's because of an older install of Alchemy?

Tried this with latest Reaper. The Alchemy plugin seems to 'freeze' on start up with a dialog box behind it asking to download the free sounds from Camel Audio site.....cant even close that dialog box with Alt-Tab. Reaper is still working behind thpugh. Can anyone help ??? Please :)

Quick question: Is the Atmospheric soundbank among the list of libraries that have been provided? I use that one a lot with version 1.25 and if I do happen to install this one I'd like to not lose it in the process.

It's the cracked version. I never actually purchased anything from Camel Audio. You can find them all over the net via torrent sites or just warez sites like here. If you do happen to remove the use data from the team released ones, be sure to pick up that one? Or maybe I can try it myself. Although someone will need to give me the basics like what program and exactly what it is I am doing.

But MAAAAAAAN dont try to keep both Alchemy and Alchemy Player.

The problem is that when you search for the data folder and select it, one of the alchemy vsts will rewrite a txt file in your programfiles86x to read only that data folder. When you run the other alchemy vst the txt file will read the data folder for the other alchemy vst resulting in (prob) a Black Screen for the vst because it adds more files to the opposite data folder.

If there was a way to have the txt file read both data folders or a way to stop the alchemy vst from reading that txt file and read another one we would be in the clear.

thanks, everything works, put presets on already established Alchemy_Player_CM! 838 preset turned out. Somebody has 50 more free presets which were on the site Camel Audio?

The 50 bonus presets were part of the full factory anyway, so they are included within this collection.
