Alchemy Player is a free software instrument with an inspiring sample library and instrument sounds including evolving soundscapes, lush pads, and pulsing arpeggios. Built with the award winning Alchemy engine under the hood, it provides ready to play sounds that can be easily tweaked from the intuitive interface. It can also load any SFZ sample library.

This release is part of a community effort to collect all official v1.50 soundbanks for the discontinued plugin Alchemy by CamelAudio.

This expanded version of AlchemyPlayer contains the original unmodified installer as taken from Computer Music magazine. In place of the limited Player soundbank it contains the 6GB soundbank from the full version of Alchemy. The presets have been modified to remove all user data and all 800+ are modified for Player compatibility.

By including the full sample content, this version of Player is compatible with any official v1.50 soundbank including all of those within the community collection project.

At the time of release, the collection is incomplete. Please see the related soundbank download for details of what's missing and how you can contribute.

yes, but i'm still looking forward to a fully working complete 1.55, as the source-editor is not included in the player's "full" trial.
maybe, if the library-set is complete we will see the liberated version.

Hi all, i want explain, in which way the great phatboy 1.55 expanded works with the old 1.25 libs. First i remove the 1.25 vst. Than i install the new 1.55. After it, i wrote in every acp-file the new userdata. Therefore i upload the missing presets and everyone who want to use can download. After downloading copy and paste the presets in your alchemy preset folder.
Rescan and everything works fine. Thänx again phatboy for your exzellent work. best wishes

Anybody still having problems with the presets, there will be a simpler solution once the rest of the collection has been checked and released.

No problems at all with presets as long as you don't copy them to the main Alchemy folder instead of C:\ProgramData\Camel Audio\Alchemy\Presets (Windows), which is what I first did.

I have half forgotten how to use this baby. Does anyone know of good tuts? Had a look on YouTube but nothing comprehensive so far.

Is there anyway to just add the newest librarys to the 1.25 version or no? i am scared i will lose all my old data? thanks in advance

can someone please explain exactly what is the end result.
will i be able to worl with the full 1.55 alchemy and all of the presets or i will be able to worl with the 1.55 player small version?
right now i am working with player expanded version 1.55 and not the full player.
couldnt figure it out.

HELP HELP>>>When I open Alchemy 1.55 vst it plays the first note but after that no sound comes though but in the advanced tab I see that the sources are playing. After the 4 weeks it became full version but suddenly begun acting like this. I uninstalled it and installed again then opened it in other DAWs and it still happens. . Can anyone help with this otherwise I will have to delete it !!

More or less presets missing samples.
Followed instructions.
How come and where would I find them.
I could eliminate those presets with problems and still have a lot of sounds but didn't have the courage to do it.
So went back to Player version with 200 presets for a total of 1,600 ( 200 x 8 ) variations which is kind of pretty good on it's own.
