I couldn't comment Acronis:

Amazing, spetacular, Backup all your data, partitions....but

when you MOST need it, it fails, you´ll never mount the file again, some times works, some times not. but the worst, the "Acronis enterprise" will never answer your e-mails for any kind of solution, you are lost, and your files will be lost forever. Believe it or not!

Thanks! I've never had a problem with Acronis either. I have had issues with Windows System Image, but never Acronis True Image.

I followed instructions but at point 6) I have no offl activation dialog
enter serial number - test -- or buy
if I enter serial on next page I need a login account

some help?

Well, that is life, sometimes it works, but, when you most need it...

My experience was about years of use, throughout many computers in many offices and by many friends of mine, but not my own experience, in one computer. Luck for those having it working.

But the must, in backup, that never, but never fails to mount another new HD with your entire Operating System is: Active@ Boot Disk

Acronis is just loud @ marketing, accepted by a number of users, and people are just too lazy & afraid of testing something else. They want straightforward (the less they think - the better) solution, and they end up with failure sooner or later.
