Well done Tracer, and thanks. If you want to add more torrent engines come.in is very good, especially useful if your isp blocks torrent sites, that one acts like a proxy gateway. Torrents are great for large downloads, but I can also see how unpopular torrents must be for the uploaders 'in business' here, who make money from uploading, and there is nothing wrong with that, uploading is a form of work and if some have found a way to be compensated for that, good luck to them.

the MAINTHING why i really RE-fall in Love with Torrents (since a long "Break") is: Torrents are something like the biggest TRASH-MOUNTAIN on planet earth for ANYTHING, if you search really special , old or courious things -> you found all "spam" we could imagine on torrent and not on any web-hosters or near dead ftp-pubstros (tagged 1998) *lough* !

if you ask my self where i am download new stuff \ soft-releases : here at audioz \ on hoster sites (that should be still the usual way for all, i think torrents are a good thing if you watch out for eg. a real old Vinyl or similar that doesnt cares any other out there except "you" at a maybe coming moment...)

Awesome tool, it brought me back the memory of all the goodies in 90's though I was mostly an offline guy at the time...LOL. 56k modem was an absolutely amazing thing to own.

if you mean with that the quality of rips\music encodings, i can promise 100% : the time with scary low-encoded mp3's and co. is since a long time gone at torrents, you really get near ever (depends on the torrent sorces) real HQ encodes as 24BIT losless flac or minimum 320kbs mp3 encodings. i made a quick test and use as example the search-query "fleetwood mac" - RESULT: the BADEST quality you found at ALL listed torrents is: MP3-320kbs lame-encode (not a single 128kbs crap listed) - but it depends maybe also on how you use a search-query, wich torrent-sorce...

@tracer- Yes 24 bit 44/96/192 khz FLACs just sound unbeleivable compared to 320 kbps mp3s, even with my mediocre cambridge soundworks speakers.. An audiophile's dream come true..

No, not really... (maybe there are similar 3party appz aviable for mac , ) but seriously: you missed nothing REAL without such a tiny tool - you just have to bookmark your favorite torrent(search) sites inclusiv the settings of your taste (seeders\date... etc) and make those steps described at the nfo manually \ webbased...

Habe heut erneut "nach geschaut" und ich glaub ich versuch es noch mal mit meinem "OS-CHANGER\FAKER" Plan! Mir ist aufgefallen das es einfach unzählig viele Entrys (abseits der Standard location) vom genutzten OS gibt! (In Form von INI Dateien die im Sys32 liegen und mehreren identischen Regentrys (teilweise auch im absoluten und nie betretenen NIRVANA)

btw: "standart-Location" =

\\\Registry\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\
(inkl. all der jeweiligen einzelnen keys, wie z.b.):

Das ganze dann nat. (je nachdem) ohne "\Windows NT\"


Denke man muss halt genau wissen wo und was der Installer so compared und das Einfachste wäre dann erst mal ALLES, was man findet, zu ändern (um sich brutal "ran zu tasten") ... genau das mach ich später mal auf nem Virtuellen VM-Ware Windows (wo nix passieren kann) ...IRGEND WAS (alternativ, zur absicherung nach der "All-Known Standart-OSinfo--Location") muss der Installer ja schießlich checken , bevor er dem User (eventuell) was "aufdrückt" (in Form eines "NÖ! Regentry's" & Co.)
