Bitwig Studio v4.3.4 [WIN macOS LiNUX]-FLARE screenshot
Team FLARE | 14 August 2022 | WiN: 288 MB | macOS: 383 MB | LiNUX: 275 MB
RELEASE NUMBER: FLARE-1869/FLARE-1870/FLARE-1871

Bitwig Studio 1 was hello, world! Version 2 brought program-wide modulators and CV integration. Version 3 saw the birth of The Grid, our modular sound-design environment. And for version 4, new musical timelines have arrived.

This means comping for audio clips, both in the Clip Launcher and the Arranger. A new set of Operators, for changing the chance, recurrence, and more of any note or audio event. Random Spread for any expression point (like per-note pitch, or audio panning) with perfect control. And Native Apple Silicon support on Mac, even allowing Intel and ARM plug-ins to work side-by-side.

Welcome to Bitwig Studio 4.

What's new in 4.3

Your Sound is Going Spaces
Our new device, Convolution, can take any sound anywhere — even places that don't exist. All convolutions imprint your sound with an “impulse,” and ours comes ready-made with 270 of them, ranging from 12th-century cathedrals and legendary studio effects to more abstract “environments.” Using the impulse of a room or hall creates a realistic reverb, but Bitwig's Convolution and content offers so much more.

Fashionably Late
Delay+ is Bitwig's latest boutique audio effect. By balancing familiar controls along with a few thoughtful new ones, Delay+ can either add a little character or fully transform your sound as it ping-pongs along.

The New Face of Polymer
Polymer and The Grid use the same modules, so when something new comes along, everybody wins. For Bitwig 4.3, some analog-inspired goodies have arrived.

Two modules are new. Union is an oscillator that plays it straight, blending three waveshapes into one pleasant, drifting output. And for filtering, Low-pass MG honors Mister Moog by imitating both his classic filter and mix buss.

Topping Off
As always, a few more new features came along for the ride. For example, FX tracks now have sends of their own. And yes, direct feedback routings are available — and clearly labeled (Achtung!). And the ADSR module gets a lot of use, so why not add a “bias” out port for a bipolar signal that centers around sustain? Good for pitch or anything that might want a little drift.

Whether it is recording settings, lyrics, or performance notes, comments can be freely added to tracks, layers, Arranger cue markers, and Launcher scenes — just start writing in your language. And by distributing our Linux build over Flatpak and supporting PipeWire, many distros will have a smoother experience with Bitwig, including Ubuntu users. And maybe even Steam Decks?…

Bitwig Studio 4.3 supports the CLAP plug-in standard.

That's not really Bitwig's fault or sign they aren't doing their job properly to sell their software, they sell to Serbia even and we are on blacklist with Iraq, Russia and others, Steinberg and AVID don't do business with us for that reason. There's no policy between Bitwig and warez teams, they are trying to protect their software enough to warrant a buy, same as U He, it's the same protection, they helped them, some parts trigger time bombs and it takes more effort to defeat it.

I have to go back to Ableton Live, I used to love Bitwig but with this situation I have to say goodbye to Bitwig and go back to Ableton Live, and I'm relieved that at least the Ableton Live cracks are fine and correct, it's annoying, I Bye bye bitwig, hoping to crack R2R

I'm using grid and native fx too.
As I wrote above, last version had random time bombs.
This version is flawless.
I did change the default username too.

I even deleted windows 11 and installed windows 10, but still the time bomb started, the problem is from the crack, I tried all tricks but no use, the time bomb is from the crack

I can not recreate it on MacOS... Everything works fine here. Is there any macOS user with this timebomb problem?

There is no solution, this crack is broken, I have been trying to fix it for several days with different windows and different tricks, but it is impossible because the crack is broken, those friends who say there is no time bomb in They are wrong, the ticking time bomb starts with some tests and they haven't done those tests yet, this version is unusable

I really don't understand, it means that FLARE is unable to crack Bitwig?? It has released broken cracks many times!!! It means it is more difficult to crack Cubase??? I don't understand why all the cracked versions have problems !!!You mean it's difficult for them??!!!They can't do it???!!!It's really a joke, they don't even try to provide a fix version

If you know better, do it yourself. DO not insult people that try hard to provide for free something that many people is unable to buy. Besides that, even if there is a timebomb, and in macOS seems there is not, I have respect for those guys/gals from Flare. And they will always have my respect and gratitude.
Stop be a p***y and appreciate somebodys hard work and time. If you do not like it, go and buy it.

@Monophonic studio You registered here "yesterday" so please, basic respect for those who actually DO something here.
You want bitwig working for you immediately?
Here is your link (click)

Or wait politely until a team got the solution, and meanwhile, please, be respectful and educated.

I did not mean to disrespect anyone, I just asked a question, and I must say that I live in a country where it is impossible to buy bitwig, I have said this many times, but you still tell me to buy legal, I would buy it if I could. And I would support my favorite brand, but alas, this is impossible for me

@Monophonic studio Well, there are ways to say things. Your comment is closer to a rant than a question.
Using constant ??!!! signs and this:
It's really a joke, they don't even try to provide a fix version

Are clear expression of ruddiness to say the least...

I dont tell you to buy it, dont change the problem.
The problem is your demanding attitude, like if cracker owe you something.
If you need more explanation, please PM me. Dont add more off topic to this post.

I've been using this release daily for a couple weeks without any problems, until today, it seems like I maybe found a strange timebomb trigger. When I hold Alt and stretch a midi clip out to stretch/extend the clip, every time I play back afterward there is a bunch of bleeps in the audio. If I undo, mute all tracks, whatever, the bleeps will not go away unless I close out the project and re-open it. Every time I hold ALT to stretch a midi clip, this always happens again. Its the only time this happens to me so far. Not sure if I'm missing something but as far as I undestand, ALT+drag should just stretch the clip out and not make any other changes that would cause such a thing. I'm using Windows 10

In any case, its still working great other than this slight issue

I made the mistake to download the essential collection.

I did the terminal sudo thing from Johnw and it stopped for now.
Will check if comes back tomorrow.
Was thinking to do the crossgrade offer from Ableton to Bitwig 40% off.. or maybe remt to buy from splice.. depends on my bankaccount.. looks like weneed to save money for the winter in europe..

I downloaded the essential collection, kept the FLARE username and haven't blocked the program via firewall, and I haven't had any problem so far unless I do the ALT+drag clip I mentioned above. I'm on Windows though

I'll probably do the rent to own via Splice since that seems to be the most affordable route to buying Bitwig, and you can pause subscription/resume as you need to. This is definitely the best DAW I've used and I've tried most.. just can't afford that pricetag
  Resident 11.04.2012 148

Go for Splice route, when you are finished paying it off, you get renewal plan for one year extra.
  Member 28.08.2022 11

that sounds like the way to go! If you bought it outright, you'd only get the updates for the first year
  Resident 11.04.2012 148
+51
Exactly, this way you got 3 years of updates, maybe even more, if you postpone renting for few months. Even if you got Bitwig on sale right now 40% off, even upgrade from 8 track, still rent-to-own is cheaper option on the long run, because you would still need to get 2 year renewal to be on the same version.

Maybe I do not have beep problem because i did not download anything with v4 i headall bitwig content before. Who knows.. but I use bitwig everyday, and never had any problems with any FLARE versions.

I just wanted to report that it's still working perfectly on my system. Windows 10 20H2
  Member 28.08.2022 11

I'm still using it daily as well. Haven't run into any issues yet aside from the one I mentioned above.
  Member 28.07.2018 50

Unfortunately I don't even comprehend the nature of these timebombs.
It's just senseless, doesn't follow any logic.
I'm using every aspect of Bitwig, native FX, poly grid, note grid, FX grid.
I'm alt + dragging midi clips to scale it like you did, no problems at all.
I still couldn't manage to trigger the timebomb, not even once.
