Ovox - H-Reverb's - MannyM Plugins - Abbey Road (excluding Saturate) plugins - IR-L's
DON'T WORK on Mojave 10.14.6 - LPX 10.4.8
I do all installation instructions. Old waves center, New Waves center, enable Data folder permission settings.
Maybe this installer sucks :( OVOX DON'T WORK MOJAVE :)

Hi, can anyone help me with this? The v10 plugins wont authorise. I've done the following:

Downloaded the v10 folder from the previous version and copied it and the data file to the right place.

Installed all the plugins with no probs

Theres only 1 au reg file in the v10 folder, and 3 in the v11 folder. I've ran them all.

Logic will only let me use the v11 plugins, all v10 plugins are listed as 'couldn't be opened).

I'm running mojave 10.14.6

Can anyone help me get this working?

Fixed, courtesy of bronko365:

if plugins are not shown in Logic:

Quit Logic.
In Finder, click on the Go menu, hold down the [Alt/Option] key and click on Library.Go to Caches > AudioUnitsCache and move com.apple.audiounits.cache to your desktop.
In the same Library, now go to Preferences and move the Waves Preferences folder to your desktop.Go to Macintosh HD > Applications > Waves > Waveshells V11 (or the version you own) and run the Waves AU Reg Utility*.
Click on Let’s Go.
If asked to Locate the Waves Plugins Folder, direct to Macintosh HD > Applications > Waves > Plug-Ins V11 (or the version you own).
Launch Logic,
go to Logic > Preferences > Plug-ins Manager.
Make sure your Waves plugins are check-marked. If they are not, highlight all Waves listings and click Reset & Rescan Selection.

Hello Guys, I have Mojave and latest Logic Pro 10.4.8.

I have installed my waves, and now all the time that I open Logic Pro, it starts to validate the 1164 Audio units Waves plugins.

Do you know how could I solve this problem?

After of the 6 minutes of validation the plugins seems to work fine xDDD but is not normal to always validate them.

Copied from elsewhere. But still, I hope it's helpful...

I've heard of this behavior before. It was usually either a permissions issue related to the AudioUnits cache or some old Waves waveshells not scanning correctly, so Logic gets stuck in a loop rescannning them on every launch. I would check the caches folder:

~/Library/Caches/AudioUnitCache

There should be a decently sized com.apple.audiounits.cache file in there. If there isn't or it's 0kb, then maybe something is preventing it from being written. Try deleting the whole AudioUnitCache folder and let Logic recreate it. Maybe that will fix it. Also check ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components to see if there are multiple waveshells present, which can sometimes clash with each other. Over the years I've had to run the Waves AU reg utility to fix issues with their plugins. It used to be found in the Applications/Waves/Waveshells folder.

I had deleted everything referred to Waves and its internal routes.

To Understand better.

-Why there are V11 and V10 versions of the same plugins in the installer?

for example, "360º Surround tool V 11" and "360º Surround tool V 10"
what's the difference between?


I have been using waves from years and this is the first time that I have problems installing it jaja .

I have the Samples of Instruments in a internal HD so I won't need it I think (from a previous release, I don't remember from)

-What is the difference from install it online and then patch or use the offline installer?

and to complete the question , if you install it online, what would be the selection that you have to mark to have all the complete plugin collection?

Ovox doesn't work! Everything installed correctly but the plugin still in mute. No Sound!

Make sure you're running all the reg. utilities as the last step. On a fresh install, that would be these four:

1.) Applications > Waves > WaveShells V10 > Waves AU Reg Utility 9.7.app
2.) Applications > Waves > WaveShells V11 > Waves AU Reg Utility1 11.0.app
3.) Applications > Waves > WaveShells V11 > Waves AU Reg Utility2 11.0.app
4.) Applications > Waves > WaveShells V11 > Waves AU Reg Utility3 11.0.app

That should clear every plug-in for takeoff!

Ovox is working for me. (Many comments say otherwise.)

If it helps: I'm using High Sierra 10.13.6 and Logic Pro X 10.4.8.
People are reporting mixed things about Mojave but I suspect it has more to do with the DAW. I can only confirm in Logic. (Using AU.)

I follow every step precisely. I suspect even step #2 (restart your computer) is essential somehow.

I wish you all successful piracy and improved sex lives.

0. Deinstall Previous versions of Waves if Applicable. (Use the free AppCleaner to get every last droplet. https://freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/)
1. Install Install_Waves_Central.dmg by dragging it into your Applications folder.
2. Restart your computer
3. Move the install.cen file & the 'Data' folder to:
/Users/yourname/public/Waves Offline Installers folder. You'll probably have to create this folder.
4. Drag downloaded samples into Macintosh HD / Applications / Waves / Data / Instrument Data
(Download those instruments from here if you don't already have them. They're not included in this distribution.) https://www.waves.com/downloads/sample-libraries
5. Run Waves Central from Applications folder
6. Select Continue Offline
7. Select Browse
8. Hit Open (it should default to the Waves Offline Installers folder, but if not, browse to the Users/yourname/public/Waves Offline Installers directory.
9. Select desired products then click Install. Always uncheck Dugan Automixer V9 (and any others you don't want to install.)
9.5 Wait for everything to install. It takes forever.
10. Run WavesLicenseEngine
11. Run the following registration utilities and Applications > Waves > WaveShells V11 folders (I had 5 to run based on the products I installed)

1.) Applications > Waves > WaveShells V10 > Waves AU Reg Utility 9.7.app
2.) Applications > Waves > WaveShells V11 > Waves AU Reg Utility1 11.0.app
3.) Applications > Waves > WaveShells V11 > Waves AU Reg Utility2 11.0.app
4.) Applications > Waves > WaveShells V11 > Waves AU Reg Utility3 11.0.app
