That's becasue Studio Rack is no longer supported with V11 Plugins. StudioRack is a V9 Plugin, probably 32 Bit. That's why it won't even show up in new installations becasue V9.x Waveshell can't be opened in Catalina.

You want StudioRack? Use V10 Plugins!

Can you guys please tell me what is the latest released version of Waves, for PC, by R2R ?

In my 'old' folders, I have the version
Waves Complete v2019.07.10 Incl Emulator-R2R

Is it their latest release ? Our is there something more recent, that got DMCA'ed ?

Anyone know why the last two Waves installers fail on macOS 10.15.2??

The error I get is:

Installation Failed
Command Failed: "/Applications/Waves Can...

This happens as soon as I click install. (same issue whether its a fresh install or not)

When I launch Pro Tools, it keeps saying that the Waveshells are not valid 64 bit aax plugins. Can anyone help?

Ovox work well on win 10, but i try to install on w7 , impossible, let me try on 8.1 will see.

The only thing you have to do, when you see (Waves 11 can't be install on w7 or w8). just click on continue and done.

Yep, it's there. You can find it in Logic under Insert --> Multichannel --> Sound Fields --> Abbey Road Studio 3.

DHLAudio's instructions work.

If you're doing the "offline installers" route with this package, keep the ones that say V11, and uncheck all the ones that are marked V9 or V10. They are not included. This fixes the problem that Nudi and Infinity encountered above. (Recycle's method of doing the online route seems to be the best option but I didn't see that until after I did the offline version.)

Also not included are some samples. Those failed validation asking to locate the location. So you might want to uncheck Bass Fingers, Bass Slapper, Clavinet, Electric 88 Piano, Electric 200 Piano, Electric Grand 80 Piano. I think that accounts for everything missing from this package.

You still end up with 580-some working plugins, which is still 500 more than anyone needs. :)

100% effective on High Sierra . . .
In this very package, replace in the Data folder the
v10 folder with the one from
the the one in the release immediately before.

1. Install Install_Waves_Central.dmg
2. Restart computer
3. Move the install.cen file & the 'Data' folder to: Users/yourname/public/WavesOfflineInstallers folder
4. Run Waves Central from Applications folder
5. Select Continue Offline
6. Select Browse
7. Hit Open (it should default to the Waves Offline Installers folder, but if not, browse to the Users/yourname/public/WavesOfflineInstallers folder directory.
8. Select desired products then click Install
9. Run WavesLicenseEngine
10. Run all Waves AU Reg Utility files in: 1) Applications > Waves > WaveShells V10 and Applications > Waves > WaveShells V11 folders (I had 5 to run based on the products I installed)
What you see is what you get.

Incidentally, I had to re-install my OS, and tried again using my older method. It still works, but unchecking Clavinet, Grand Rhapsody Piano, etc. didn't change a thing; there are so many bundles checked, you end up with the whole package anyway. It still works fine. But it asks for the samples 3x before allowing you to continue. Everything still passes verification. But I'm missing samples for a few instruments. Which is fine.

I'm gonna replace my V10 folder with the one from the distribution you linked to, in case I have to install it again. I like having an offline option in case of future changes with Waves.

Does anyone know if this will work alongside legit iLok apps? Or if legit iLok works with open ssh in general?

I’m thinking about buying Slate Trigger 2 (osx) but dont want to lose the ability to use Waves and a few others.

You might need to do the online installer with Catalina to get the very latest versions. I'm just guessing here. But I don't think it's been Catalina compatible for very long.

Everything worked great for me with the new V10 folder, which has more juice. 1g in size vs. 360 meg.

Although when you launch Logic, it still asks you to locate samples which are not included. That seems obvious now, but since no one's mentioned it yet, you can get them separately from:

Props for discovering that "Dugan Automixer" is the only real problem here.

I had to reinstall everything on a new HD, followed your tip, and everything worked perfectly! All I unchecked was Dugan Automixer. Thank you!

I installed the plugs on Sierra and everything went OK but some plugs, strangely, do not authorize themselves in Logic Pro (AphexVintage Exciter and WavesTune RT), the Plug-in Manager says: could not be opened.
Any good advice to solve the problem?

FInally got this working using a mix of downloading official installers through waves central and using then following steps above. All working fine now my only issue is that all the Waves plug-ins Logic has deemed 'could not be opened' even though they open fine and work in logic - and are now all in an 'incompatible' folder - not a major issue but does anyone know why/how to change this

Hi,

Its works on mi mac with Mojave 10.14.5
But i have a problem with all the VSti such us Bass fingers, pianos, etc, i cant find the presets library and cant use it. also in the folder Waveshells V10 its empty...i dont know, its ok?
The rest of the vsts its all fine.

Very nice. Installed successfully here and almost everything works. Unfortunately the head tracker of NX doesn't work with the webcam. I don't know if it is related to Catalina or not.
