Just an assumption but you may need to disable SIP on M1. Doing that takes a ibt of a procedure, I am gonna experiment next few days and ill report back to community if i succeed.

Can you see the Preset Browser or is it only me that I can't?
With VR releases I can't see the new Preset Browser. With the RET everything is fine but their last release doesn't include CR8, COSMOS and Germano and doesn't crack new stuff added after it.

Correct it will not show the CR8 or Cosomos and Germano. I am still trying to figure this whole thing out myself too. I get the same problem as well when doing the Codesign where has an error too. Not sure why considering all files are there.

Is that right? (but it shows me an error as "resource fork, Finder information, or similar detritus is no allowed.")

And now I can use waves in Rosetta only, and stereo only.
All mono plugin or mono>stereo are not working.

I'm fucking tired of Waves' update plan. Waves Central wouldn't even recognize the second licenses I generated for my new laptop, and even if they did, they would expire. Fuck them. I just want Cosmos for loop management anyway ffs.

Hello guys, i have a M1 pro chipset, and i struggled a lot to install properlly Waves V13 on my laptop!
But now i have the solution and it works perfectly!
You need to download the last available waves version AND the old waves RET KEYGEN version released end of last year, in order to mix both files.
Use the last version to install Waves Central and the data you need in order to install the plug ins you want, then use the other file (RET KEYGEN) to activate it.
Just follow those steps and it will work perfectly!

Install Waves Central and the plug ins you want with offline browser and the file Waves (last version)

for the rest, you will find everything in the old RET KEYGEN file :

Replace "WavesLicenseEngine.bundle" in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Modules/

Open Terminal and run

xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

and

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle


Run R2R KeyGen on Windows or CrossOver for Mac.
Input Device ID to the keygen.
You can find the Devices and their ID at Licenses tab in WavesCentral.
Generate *.wle license.
Copy *.wle license to

[Computer License]
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses/

Reboot!

Run /Applications/Waves/WaveShells V13/Waves AU Reg Utility 13.app

I'm assuming the ret Keygen from the waves 13 release?? Waves Complete v2021.12.05 MacOSX Incl Patched and Keygen-RET?? would this be the version he's referring to use?

Tested and can confirm this is the keygen to use.

But I realized that the issues i've been having is that V13 audio units/components aren't showing up for me. I did a clean install, same issue. Not sure what to do

I ran into an issue when using terminal and doing the deep code sign... it would say, invalid argument "rce"

forgot to mention when you use the AU Validation tool in the waves folder itself... it runs but doesn't find anything to validate at all. so something doesn't sound right.

I got it to work BUT...

The plugins aren't native :( i'm not sure if I messed up earlier in the installation process, but I know these aren't native because AUHostingCompatibilityService is ramping up CPU% when I open up a lot of these plugins. If it's a native plugin, the CPU load should be on the DAW in Activity Monitor. That's not the case for me.

I'd be curious if these plugins work natively for you OP.

No I actually followed the advice exactly. I got it to work, thanks to Avaz007.

The issue I had was that I downloaded the wrong RET version. The V13 from December works perfectly. I'm not trying to get Waves from this particular release, I just wanted AS native Waves plugins, and I got that from that RET version.

It did take some trial and error, but I eventually got it to work. I know a did a lot of complete uninstalls with "Complete Waves cleanup" found in Waves Central settings. Maybe give that a shot, then follow the directions exactly.

Hey which exact version of Waves do we use along with the RET keygen?

The RET version i've seen mentioned that has the keygen we're suppose to use is version Waves.Complete.v2021.07.21.MacOSX.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-RET correct?
