Hi. Your best course of action would be to unistall and delete all omni1 related files, clean registry (maybe revo unistaller) and install Omni 2 from scratch. I did this and never had any omni related issues. Once you installed the full 80gb package, you could apply this update.

I love this Danilov way because my w10 doesn t open all r 2 r kgns, I made some defender error in the past and win remember that still closing def at all... Till I reinstal w10 from zero, it s my salvation.

Hi Kingk, thanks for this data, DefControl2 downloaded, executed. disabled winDef and... no r2r kgen is executed yet...
But I ll keep on using it because it s a good element. And if I reinstall win10 in the future I ll still be using DefControl2 to avoid this phantom phenom before it happens.

The worst about Omnisphere startup speed is that it always starts with the standard Diagnostic GUI page which slows down everything.

If it would go straight to the Layer or Main page with the option set the whole start would be like 80% faster...

I really wonder what these aged grandpapa developers at Spectrasonic think that they arent fixing this crap...

Every start you see this stupid Diagnostic Page for no reason...

Unfortunately this release also has timebombs. Just experienced with a duplicated instance of Omnisphere (VST3) in Cubase.
