Waves Central: New Version (V12.0.19)
New: Appearance setting to enable dark mode.
New: “Complete Waves cleanup” setting to uninstall and delete all Waves files except for the contents of the Waves Data folder.
New: “My Offers” bottom bar to explore personal deals and offers.
Added "Download Team Viewer for remote assistance" link to the Support section.
The new version of Central no longer supports macOS 10.10 (Yosemite).
Various other fixes and improvements.

To work, go to the folder C: \ ProgramData \ Waves Audio \ WavesLocalServer \ WavesLocalServer.bundle \ Contents \ Win64 search for the file "WavesLocalServer" Cut and place it on the desktop.

on Catalina, installed using the online installer, logic and ableton don't even see the plugins even after a restart

Works great with the R2R emulator

Bad thing , I don't know if it's an update or still a bug needs to be fixed
Only a few vst's are shown by themselves while all the plugins are available from inside the Studio Rack

Waves bundle has become total chaos: difficult to install, difficult to manage, blurry GUI, big time aliasing ...
with each update they move further and further away from being useful
Why is that?

still afraid to download waves again on my mac (catalina) using ableton.

Works fine for me Big Sur 11.2.3 - In Ableton & Cubase.
For Logic they don't show up, probably a validation issue but I don't use Logic so I don't care much.

Installation was failing due to some error I Can't remember if I manually selected most plugins except drivers, I selected just the Mercury bundle + SSL + API collections (I think that's all plugins?), and then it worked.

All plugin GUI's looked black at first run, after a restart it was fixed.
