Channel Vocoder
Voice bot is a real time channel vocoder. A vocoder takes the spectral information of one sound also known as a modulator and uses it to shape another sound called a carrier. The resulting sound is a bit like a singing robot or many, depending on how many notes are played.
Both the modulator and carrier are fed through a filter bank and frequencies that are common between the two are amplified. Therefore it is important to have a frequency rich oscillator.

Recording

Voice bot comes with a basic modulator recording function. This means only the clean input signal is recorded, fully ready to shape the carrier at playback time.

Oscillators

Voice bot has 3 oscillators with individual octave controls.

Effects

Several controls and effects are available along with a 25 key chromatic keyboard. The delay is controlled by a global bpm and 2 taps per stereo channel, setting delay amount and time signature.
