GForce VSM v2.1.1 Update MacOSX Incl Keygen MERRY XMAS-R2R screenshot
TEAM R2R | 25 December 2014 | OSX: 13.8MB
VSM is a simple but highly powerful Virtual String Machine which captures many of the sounds from this genre of instruments, containing a wealth of sounds from a small mountain of classic and rare string machines. These range from the first commercial string ensembles (Eminent 310 & Freeman String Symphonizer) through to the highly lauded Solina, Elka Rhapsody, Logan String Melody, Korg PE2000 and many more.

With the sheer amount of instruments captured within the VSM it's simplicity itself to recreate all those golden string machine tones from yesteryear. However, with the VSM's comprehensive, yet intuitive feature-set, plus a two-layer option it's now possible to create your own hybrid instruments taking these sublime vintage tones into hitherto unchartered territory.

Features:
The sounds from 17 classic and rare string machines.
Over 2.5GB of data.
66 individual sample sets.
49 notes, each individually sampled and looped.
Dual Layer & Split Keyboard capability.
Vintage style Ensemble & Phaser effects.
Filter section with Lowpass, Bandpass & Highpass modes.
Two Envelope Generators.
Pitch LFO.
Dynamic control including filter aftertouch.
700+ Patch library.

You are wrong! The Folder with the Samples can be also on a external HD.
As long the Name of the Folder & Samples are original.

Lisa is right and sorry I didn't see this until now or I would have responded already. There is an option right before the end of the installer that is a checkbox. Once you select it and click next it will bring up a screen that allows you to select a location for the library files. The default will be C:ProgramData\GForce\String Machine or something like that (at least on Windows). Just change it to wherever you'd like it to be. This has been verified by me though I didn't change the path to an external but rather a different partition. Stands to reason that it wouldn't make a difference if that location had been an external, another internal drive or simply a partition so it will work.

Thanks lisapower and Catalyst, I tried that in the install process, but when I booted in standalone first to reg, it would not see the sample library as a valid .cpt... But this could very well be because:
1. I was updating from the 32bit version I had (legit, but NFR, thus unupgradeable).... So I moved the libs back to where the installer wanted to put them and all was copecetic... or

2: Perhaps it was because I ALSO had team HORiZON's great new Expansion Pack installed BEFORE I did the 64bit install on osx...

will retry from scratch... I did see that you could, I just couldn't first try..... and I know GForce stuff can be sticky once in awhile with that (Mtron Pro is like that as well...)
..grateful for HEXWARS, R2R, SYNTHiC4TE, CASHMERE & ALL teams, AZ crew past and present, and friends I have met here . RIP and LOVE to Olymoon and his family.

I never register in standalone. Is that how you have to do it on Mac? On PC you simply enter the serial on install. I don't think it's the expansion since that simply copies a library file to your installation directory. i would uninstall everything and try it again with a clean slate. If for some reason it still doesn't work I'm sure we could get this resolved for you so you can move it where you want it. If anything you could always open a topic on AudioSex where you would get more attention than in the comments here.

Got the original Library working. I Installed this update first. Then I found the original AiRISO VSM on another site (Gforce.Virtual.String.Machine.VSTi-AiRISO). New here so I'm not sure if I can say which one. I opened RAR and then opened the ISO file, but the Installer/Program was no longer good for a non PPC Mac. But I simply changed the name of the Resource.cpt2 file to Library.cpt2 and placed it in HD/AppSupport/Gforce/String Machine/String Machine Library. All is working great. I was able to put the VSM_Expansion.cpt2 that's available too in same folder. All's good. Let me know about posting where I got the original with the Library. Can I ??? Hope this helps ...
