Anyone else have any trouble getting this to install? I have the previous Battery 4.1.4.126 installed for several months now, but when I try to run this installer...I get a message about "no previous installation found". I'm wondering if I can just use Pacifist to install the new version of Battery and then copy over the patches? Any advice is appreciated kindly :)

Question for you Battery users:

If I install the Battery 4 and Factory Library, do I need to progressively install ALL the updates or can I just skip to the latest update?

Just the latest update mate and I think there's a library update to

Ok... I give up!! I've been at this ALL day!! I never have this problem without being able to find a resolution somewhere... but now Pacifist can't even help!!
This is an error message from Pacifist when I try to extract the Factory Content:

"Missing package reference in distribution file for package “Battery 4 Factory Library 1.0.1 Installer Mac.pkg”: com.native-instruments.Battery4FactoryLibrary.LibraryUpdate"

Does anyone know the fix?

*UPDATE: I may have fixed the problem... my Pacifist needed an update AND upgrade. Now I've been able to extract everything but I don't know yet, if this is the Factory Content I need , or just part of an update...

Honestly there's no point for filling your hard drive with those stock battery sounds. I recommend that you just map out other 3rd party kits on to battery. If you can just get the plain Battery plugin that would be best.

...and i just realized I'm relying on a 2012 comment

Ok... I got it up and running! Woo-Hoo!!
Now... I only have 2 kits.
The "808 Multiple Kit" and the "Concrete Cru Kit". Is that it??!!!

You need to install the "Battery 4 Factory Library" to have all the sounds.

All is well here, not crashing logic x on exit like the previous versions....

I did... I found 3 libraries and 2 were corrupt. One had only the 2 kits (with corresponding samples) mentioned above. But the last one I DL'd had everything! I'm up and running everything is installed including the fact that everything shows up in the Factory tab in Battery 4!!

I'd like to thank myself for the stubborn diligence. I'd also like to thank myself for spending all day with this... and guiding me thru the whole process. Lastly... I'd like to thank myself for being there when I needed me the most. Thanks to all of me...

* I'd be remiss if I didn't thank DKB... now... what do I do about an erection lasting more than 4 hours?

Yeah this is really buggy. If anyone can upload a more stable version that would be awesome

Hey Guys, do you have link for factory library 4 install ? because (4.01 factory lib update won't work even if installed with pacifist. I tried to modify .plist but the right "strings" are not there) ? I also have it in folder but no way it shows up in Battery app.
Thanks

Really buggy, this one. Crashes Studio One all the time here. Running on Yosemite, 10.10.5.
Are there stable versions of Battery 4 out?
Thanks for the effort, anyway, platensoul.
Cheers!
