Transient Shaper is a dynamics plugin that allows "shaping" of the Attack and Release phases of the sound with 2 knobs only. The effect ranges from gate-like to compressor-like. Transient Shaper is aimed to be used with percussion, but can also be used to process individual channels or loops. The sound it produces is different from "classic" dynamics processors. It is a good tool for adding punch to the mix or to accomplish tasks where classic dynamics sound too harsh. The CPU usage is very low (around 1% per plugin instance or less on more or less modern computers).

V2.x features analog saturation, 3 Attack shapes & 3 Release shapes.

I prefer Transient Shaper to NI's Transient Master, but I still use both. Transient Shaper does a better job at affecting only the transients. Transient Master's boosts and cuts are really broad and affect more than the transient. It's hard to explain, but you can see it clearly if you use an oscilloscope to compare the two. Depending on the signal, I choose between the two.

Great stuff, thanks a lot, but i haven´t completed the installation properly it seems: I´ve followed all the steps but I have no clue how to register the generated license... Is there any folder it should be placed in or sth??

I was able to register it just fine on my MAC.
I have Ableton 9.7.1 running on Sierra 10.12.6

Once you install the software and replace the vst3. You can then install the license by following the steps below which I got from the manual (the manual is available on their website)

"If you bought a Transient Shaper license , you will just need to click the "Open License" button and point Transient Shaper to the .
lic file."

That Open License button will show up the moment you run the plugin and the .lic file is included in this realease as well as the keygen if you want to generate your own .lic file.

I don't know why some ppl had trouble registering this, it seems pretty straightforward
