First released in 2005 BLUE already reflected Rob Papen’s cutting-edge, creative, and — most importantly — musical approach towards developing virtual instruments by first delivering FM and subtractive synthesis, then duly adding Phase Distortion and wave shaping synthesis into the highly creative mix to create one seriously creative combination. Rob Papen himself called it ‘Cross-fusion synthesis’ since it covered so much musical ground so effectively.

Today BLUE-II remains true to that ethos with even more sound dimensions and features to its extended name, starting with six oscillators beating at its musically creative heart. These can be connected in various ways, together with two analogue-style modelled stereo filters with 27 different filter types, an enormous range of processing and modulation options, sequencer, and an incredibly powerful arpeggiator. A new range of specially selected waveforms based on samples have been meticulously fashioned for creating new and fresh-sounding synth sounds, so don’t go expecting acoustic pianos galore here. However, since choirs and strings are an excellent basis for so many synth sounds BLUE-II has them in abundance — with much more besides!

Hey guys, really would love to use this synth, but i keep getting the error: problem with data file, it keeps popping up and eventually it crashes logic pro when trying to open

try to reinstall, here it works ok.
Maybe you need to reset permissions on your Applications/Rob Papen folder.

Reinstalled it , rescanned it with logic, still gives the same response, problem with data file. But i use logic 9 and yosimite, could that be the problem? Ps. also looked at the rob papen folder but there is only stuff from the subboombass no files for the BLUE 2?

pps. also tried to open it with logic X, when scanning the audio units it gives the same mention of problem with data file

You need to have a 421MB Blue 2 folder in Applications/Rob Papen.
You're installing without admin right probably, dunno.
Install with pacifist. If it gives checksum errors on extracting just ignore them,
are normal with repacked installers and doesn't create problems.
Wow Logic9 run on Yosemite? I thought it won't.

I am totally unaware how things go down wether or not people like u and r2r are getting donations to silence uploads so to speak or wether u do it for the love and appreciation...regardless I bet the donations if they exist are not anything near what u deserve for the time u invest at keeping the community thriving. Most teams and individuals do it for the love of sharing as well as the challenge. We actually have no method at the moment for donations so all the work is on the house. Whoever uploads a file gets a little dough from using certain hosters but for the most part they funnel that back into the community with new software purchases. I can see Chinese characters so thanks a lot, really appreciate you taking the time to reach out and in your language to boot. Definitely want to hear a submission from you on the next album. Really looking forward to it.

I believe Team HEXWARS, in their .nfo file have a contact information for supplying retails deftmonk, since it is no secret in their releases, I would look at the fine print on one of those, or I can PM you it. I am sure they would appreciate it, and it's cool that new members here understand the idea of giving back (as opposed to asking for Nexus (face palm))……...

Is it me or has anyone noticed there is some error with the knobs?
If you click on any knob they always go to the max or min, but the rectangle box next to the "HELP" box shows the exact level whether the knob is min or max.
So, you can't look at the knob to gauge what level you want.

EDIT: Just tried it again and it's working normally. Weird.
EDIT 2: Knobs are acting weird again.
I am using a Mac 10.14.6 and 11.7.1
