You can now change the developer/manufacturer name and use a much more logical workflow orientated layout. You could, for instance, arrange by the type of effect, and we even allow you to go further by making multi layers with sub folders. This gives you the ability to create hierarchies such as; "Compressor > Multi-band" and "Compressor > Single-band", so you have full control over how YOU want your plugins organized. Further more ALL your changes are compatible with old projects. You can even import/export and revert settings at the start or end of any individual sessions, 100% compatibility!

It just would be cool if they spent a tenth of the time/effort they put in CP and building a fancy website, to debug, betatest and improve this to make it actually do what it claims to.

Yeah, maybe I was just unlucky dunno. That's my experience obviously.
(I must say I had the same results with legit copy, just to clarify!).
A quick question, did it worked as expected also on
32Lives resurrected plug-ins? And some specific:
Plug-in Alliance, Lexicon, SoundToys?

Almost every AU or VST Manager does mess up your original settings! You have to be very careful with using these. Yet I don't understand why they put apparently strong copy protections on such small software……

I prefer to keep my AU ordered by developer... strange to say it seems more logical to me. I can remember the positions.. even if I'm high

thanks for the share AND warning copylefter. The idea of this plugin has been on the periphery of my mind for awhile, but after reading your experience, I think I will just stick with what we have been forced to get used to as opposed to mucking my components folder (backup or not), seems like this could lead to plugin update issues etc…(more from user end, as I know they internally look at themselves differently)….

Good thinking. After backing up my plugin folder, I was just about to get started with this app then I read your take on the update situation and it totally makes sense. This could cause communication issues with update servers, etc.

As much as I like to "customize" things, this might have to wait. Unless we get word that the updates still work. Thanks for the wise words.

Thanks Piano Man, yeah, I think we should sit on the sidelines with this one for a bit… at least until we understand how it/if it works with NI Server etc… I too like customization, but this could end up causing more headaches then it is worth!
