I think reinstalling the OS doesnt help, i read something about a timer / timecode which is saved on the card

You should be able to set the clock back each nite and see if that works. also there is windows timer cracks that reset the clock each nite or whatever specified...i heard about that all the way back to 2000...Good luck.

Hey you guys...what I truly would like to see is a UAD card EMULATOR!!!! Now that would be interesting...even if it required a super fast CPU ...with the new Intel Chips like the i7...you would think it could emulate those Sharc chips pretty easy...However i dont know bout that...

also one more thing...OT - have you guys ever heard of someone trying to use a video card to run plugins...somehow letting the GPU do the calculations and it would be like a DSP card in itself? talk about a cheap solution...or even better, some Guru crackin the UAD that would emulate on one of these Video Cards (i know, wishful thinkin')

the GPU stuff you refer to is NVidia's CUDA, but the plugins that run on it are specific CUDA versions so far.

I think Reverberate has a CUDA version, but havent seen it cracks as it obviously requires a port and compile in the CUDA language.

Things might of changed, but that was the last I heard about it anyways.

I have a pre-cracked package of UAD-1 plugins, I could upload later if someone needs them. I think they are working and only requiring the card.

these ar n ot cracked,but simple the vst/au -compoments given by UAD.
UAD is not cracked till now,,,,,,,you surele need the card!!!

lol! the uad crack you found was a faked release never worked years ago. also a "pre-cracked package" is the software you can download for free on uad site but you need a card and you must buy the plugs. lol funny somehow..

An Emu? These are SHARC DSPs, dlls are not in x86 compatible code. If someone would be able to do that, he would be a genius. It is far more work than an syncrosoft emu. I know of some plugs from Duende, but I believe UAD code is different. And yes, the demotime is saved on the card, not your OS, you can set time back as much as you want, it won't help.

But the plugs are the best ever.

Thats why I said "...it would be interesting". However the UAD is nice but Waves stuff sounds just as good (..if not betta) and its just dont make since to invest that kinda money into a card when you can but a mobo and proc that would smoke the advantage of How many plugs you can run/proprietary B.S... Ive heard them and yes they sound nice but I wud rather use the other stuff that sounds just as good....for $0. I love to see these guys get all worked up over theoreticals!!! I actually used to build DSP boards that had 10 Sharc chips on each card. Huge DSP Boards...and Soldered them with a microscope... The name of the Company is Harrison/GLW. They make million $ recording consoles with 256 channels and 4 layers... And yes - someone could spend the time and make an emu...however-it would be impractical since Wave's $13K bundle is MUCH MORE Sought After and is VST !!!

Oh one more thing...unless the UAD has a battery on the DSP board...try setting your CMOS clock backwards in the BIOS... If the UAD doesnt have a Battery and is on some 'real world Clock' time then it has to sync to something to give it a timestamp. Interesting to say the Least!!!

The UAD plug-ins were best years ago. Now time is changed. Native plugins like Waves, Softube, Voxengo, SoundToys and many others produce kickass plugins and so many people are selling their UAD cards to go into the native world.

I had a discussion About DSP Powered software
There were people that were saying that it's a good copy protection method
Till so far I Am not sure about any UAD Plugins being cracked But I have seen Powercore Plugins (mostly Sonnox)
so it is still possible

The big benefit of the UAD Plugins is that they use NO CPU Power
The waves Plugins actually use your CPU :P
I also believe there are versions of waves Plugins that will run on a DSP Card
But If you know some stuff about DSP's you will know why they are still wanted
and especially the more powerfully once (thats why you see lots of used Uad 1 and Uad 2 Solo Sold Online)

Hello guys i need someone to go and save registry settings for their UAD plugins (through regedit) , esp (if they are working on your system) neve, roland suite, helios, LA3a , precision, vcaand spl. I am on the verge of a break through but unfortunately this is only for those with the cards. THis may be a way to get all the plugins working for the cards.

If I understand you right, you said, that the so called crack-files, that I uploaded aren't worth anything, but you have another idea if you only can find someone with a card and the Plug-Ins registered to analyze his registry settings?

The experience you made with the crack-files is the same that other people reported here and elsewhere. You prooved, they're right. Sorry, that I made you spend time on that worthless trail.

I will keep my eyes open to find someone with a card and additional Plug-Ins to get a copy of his registry.
