Anyone get this working? The included MIDI Guitar app won't launch, it bounces once in the dock and then stops.

I tried importing the license file into a version downloaded from their website but it says License not found.

change permissions on "show package" -> Contents -> MacOS -> MIDI Guitar
e.g. do a "chmod 775" on Contents/MacOS/MIDI Guitar IN the *.app

Thank you, divided.

I had to open the package, go to the file, move it into an easily accessible folder, chmod it and then move it back. After that, MIDI Guitar started up correctly and loading the license file worked.

Yeah i try to learn it too!!
But sometimes your musical ideas (guitar thinking wise)might be hard to transfer to keyboard playing (atleast for me and especially chord wise)
So if you can play it "slowly" so it can track it why not use it?..

Still i wonder if the Roland VG system or that other brand Axon (which sadly is no longer in buisness)or some other Midi guitars is worth trying..

But yes if you can play it on the keyboard that would be the best option

Anyone (with a good ear) can tell when a keyboard part is played by MIDI guitar. The guitar voicings are completely different from the way a keyboard player would play the same chords... so, that's why I don't care for MIDI guitar. I much prefer "playing" the keyboard parts on a keyboard!

I looked for what was a chmod on the web.
I try to do this in the terminal, but it doesn't work.

Does somebody could explain exactly how to do a chmod 775 with this app in a mac os lion ?
