angry On the site they say:
"Mac OS X 10.5 or newer"
But it's NOT working on MAC Leopard 10.5.8! sad
Nevermind, FabFilter or Brainworx Plugins are much better!! yes

Crysonic plugins always have such a beautifully-designed interface...I'd love to shake hands with their graphics people! yes

Elegant nice UI, no doubt... But I'm still to get proves about a RR overtaking a Ferrari on the streets. =D
Like... Crysonic's designers should meet up with Expert Sleepers' and make babies lol.
Test-itch-calls now. Thanks a lot for letting us test extensively, Xdb!
Thanks a lot for sharing this with us, Kook! Love you all

If someone made a Shirt that said, "I love Xdb." I would wear it.

Thanks for the upload, Kookaboo.
Sorry, I won't get it as I follow you here : always fancy interfaces and big " we-are-the-revolution-of-VST and yada yada " on their sites, so as to hide that their plugins are really not that good at all.

+1 for FabFilter or Brainworx wink

mates to Kook and DAW
I use EQuilibrium the most. And for broadband equalizing
1973 by Stillwell and sometimes Trident-A-Range.
The Trident also has the best sounding clipper I've ever heared. yes
For Tracks which are layered on others I use EQuilibrium (linear phase mode).
Nice setup i must say. phones

DoktorDito:

Stillwell makes excellent tools. The latest I'm playing with is the " Schwa Psycho Dither " : for now, rendering from 32 ( or 24 ) to 16 bit, I just don't hear a difference in sound ( which is not the case with the POW-Rs included in Samplitude for example ) wink .

For EQ, I'm looking ( who cares, in fact ? ) for the most transparent operation. So I also really like the apulSoft apQualizr. Nice touch : it goes as high as your sample frequency goes wink ( well : half the sample frequency yes ).( The Sonoris Mastering Equalizer may be better but it doesn't do that ). Give it a try - looks to me it's not so well known ... -.

Best regards mates

I care about what you think. Yes the apEQ is fantastic.
I used the apEQ before I replaced it with EQuilibrium,
which is now my everything-eq... even for mastering.
It simply features EVERYTHING and is cpu friendly.

Psycho Dither is not available for OSX.
Dithering: That is what i ever wanted to check out closer.
There is a plugin for mac by sonalksis... ultimate-d.

Thanks for telling me that. I only used POWr before... mates

Oups, sorry for the Psycho Dither :-( [ In fact I'm on PC. Kookaboo writing that " FabFilter or Brainworx Plugins are much better!! " made me want to write a word here too.]

Promised, I'll check again EQuilibrium yes

So it seems we're at the same stage for dithering ; I'm reading throughout :
http://www.gearslutz.com/board/
about the subject since I was disappointed with the audio differences between the 3 POW-R in Samplitude ( pow-r#1, pow-r#2, pow-r#3 ) and the " old " UV22 cracked as VST. First I thought I was crazy and that we aren't supposed to hear such signals but thanks to GSlutz, now I know I'm not :-)

This sort of " things ":
http://www.gearslutz.com/board/mastering-forum/766542-flat-dither-question-m

bit.html

http://www.gearslutz.com/board/mastering-forum/827255-best-resampling-dither

ing-program-weiss-rx2-something-better.html

http://www.gearslutz.com/board/mastering-forum/147342-dithering-must.html
etc.

TPDF, Mbit+ is chineese for now rofl ...

Note : I've stopped trying to " master " at home, in the pro sense of the term. I give that to people who know the job, it's really particular. But usually, they like - and I like - to give them an approximative example of how I'd like it to sound. So the dither and the " limiter/clipper " options.
Right now, I'm back again to the A.O.M. Invisible Limiter - MAC / PC - :
http://aom-factory.jp/en/products/invisible-limiter/
knowing that I'm not for the loudness war and untill I'll switch again to FabFilter Pro L, or Kratos Maximizer ( MAC / PC ) , or ... ???

Hey DoktorDito, do you know how to save the layout on EQuilibrium? I really liked it, but It's really annoying that everytime I open a new instance of the plug in I need to answer the wizard again and again!!!

Be grateful for what you have.

This should do it =>
run this in terminal:
mkdir -p ~/Library/Application\ Support/DMGAudio/EQuilibrium/
