Kontakt 5 v5.2.0 Mac OSX AU VST RTAS Standalone V2

Wonderful news! But what if you don't use "service center" My Mac Pro never connected to the net
and i never use service center anymore with my "cracked Kontakt" since version 4.0, What do you do then?

Cool, the only thing that was a "turn off" for me is the Service Center thing....
I have too many, absolutely precious libraries and the last thing i want to do is connect my Mac Pro to service center,

DOESN'T WORK!!! It's still Kontakt Player and few libs are in DEMO! You can update the service center when you're on 10.7 or above, otherwise you're screwed just like me.

QUICK UPDATE:
it's fixed 64bit au demo issue but still kontakt player so I rather really doubt it's Service Center update issue if they work in 64bit mode.

I'm still using the older and solid versions of KONTAKT 3, 4, +5 and never had troubles. BEWARE of using NI Service Center online!!

Yes, me too, using the earlier version of Kontakt and it's wonderful! no problems what so ever...

All the songs remain the same.
DEMO-Libraries in AU 32 bit

Standalone, AU and VSTi x64 working fine (Logic, Studio One, Abletone).

BTW After exchange plist from 5.0.3 in preferences this one is Kontakt Full

Suberb!!! Now we do not need kontakt 4 anymore, all old libs works well (standalone Au 64). Need to reset!

I do not have this problem at all!, i even deleted the Service Center App completely from my application folder.
All libraries working fine.

Here is what i did.
First i removed and placed "com.native-instruments.Kontakt 5.plst" (from Kontakt 5 v5.1) file from "HD/Library/Preferences", to the desktop. Just to have a backup and to be sure.

Then i just placed the Standalone & the AU Ke'd files (released yesterday on AudioZ) on their right place (I did not use or install the Full official Kontakt) .
Then i opened the Standalone App but nothing happened so i used "BatChmod" app to repair permissions on the Standalone App.
The Standalone app finally opened but i got the Demo activation window, so i put back "com.native-instruments.Kontakt 5.plst" in "HD/Library/Preferences" and everything working fine no demo mode. Full Kontakt version.

Tested = 50min
64/32Bit = Yes
Format (Standalone/AU) = Yes
Saving-Recall Presets = Yes
Time-Bomb = only tried for 50min so i don't know
Logic Pro 9.1.8 = Yes

Just for information, I installed the previous release from here on a cubase6 32, osx10.6.8, followed all the instructions and works like a charm on all my libs... Thanks again for those releases

Without saying activate old library. Colossus and Artvista virtual grand piano, are ok now.

i wiped out all after upgrade 5.1 and now i have a clean 5.0.3 installed...

you said the Standalone & the AU Ke'd files released yesterday on AudioZ are good, and the ones in this post ?

It was yesterday - Standalone, AU and VST working fine with all Libs and Kontakt is really Full Version (not Player) x64 bit. (full version registration and serial number at info window)

BUT all about x32 - all old libraries in Demo mode - in Standalone, AU and VST.

It's only x32 bit versions problem.

And it's imposible from this post bundle, I think so, cause I'll try all kinds (I think so) of installing.
No success absolutely with x32bit versions (it takes to Demo mode of old libraries only).

In my case:

1- I just make a copy from my "com.native-instruments.Kontakt 5.plist" file from my old Kontakt 5.0.3 from "HD/Library/Preferences", to my desktop.

2- After I full installed this release >> except "CRACKS".

4- Finally used the "Permissions Reset" on my Standalone Kontakt.


5- Now copy your 5.0.3 "com.native-instruments.Kontakt 5.plist" in your desktop from "HD/Library/Preferences".

and everything is ok now, "for me"

Yes I remember that. But today when I went to add my old library, ARTVISTA VIRTUAL GRAND PIANO keep saying "activate" but now is ok.

Most probably this will do nothing, but anyway this came to mind after reading the last post in the other funtime thread from grdh20xgman few minutes ago and his question to daibouzu just at the end of the post ... Has anyone tried to move the two KONTAKT .plist (+ the .xml in the Service Center folder) to a TMP folder (in case they need to be restored), re-run Kontakt to see if it re-creates the moved files and it ends everything working ?!

After this rally I think I start to work with 64 bit Logic.
Surely 2013 on the streets, and I have 16Gb RAM.
And this marathon from 5.1 to 5.2 not for me:))
I think enough.

Also, has anybody here had a perfectly working v5.1.0 installed (i mean working perfectly well with ALL your installed libraries) before installing the new version from the first post by funtime ?.

That was my case, i had v5.1.0 installed with all the libraries i had installed working right. Then downloaded the archive from funtime, run it the installer, applied the cracked files + BatChmod to Standalone, and everything worked just fine (despite the interface window displays Kontakt Player and not Kontakt alone).

I feel guilty that mine works so easily. I wish I knew what the trick was. Probably a combination of things. My guess is that is has to do with what state your last install is in.

Fraggle yes, my 5.1 was 100% (after removing a stray Kontakt Player installation), but my 5.2 (and 5.1) says "Full" version and works in 64/32 and standalone fine.
