My guess is that is has to do with what state your last install is in.

I think this too! Hence i insist in that they should have a 100% v5.1.0 working installation (like i had too) before they try to install the new one.

but my 5.2 (and 5.1) says "Full" version and works in 64/32 and standalone fine.

Mine works fine too (32/64b). And if i look at the "About box" by clicking in the "Kontakt" logo it says "License Type: Full" also. What i've tried to express before is that in the main Kontakt interface, on the top left corner it says "Kontakt Player" and not "Kontakt" alone as in previous cracked versions (which BTW doesn't seems to affect my installation because as i've said already, it works just fine, like yours).

hmmm . . Mine does just say Kontakt on the top left. Again something weird maybe on one of the plists codes. Well as long as it all works....

maybe a hint about that, when I first downloaded the other 5.2 share, I tried to run the installer and I got a message saying you can't install this because you have a full version already installed (or something like that. So I gave up and just copied the cracked files over using the permissions app. So I guess whatever state my 5.1 Full was in is carried over.

Man! when to display this message just delete "com.native-instruments.Kontakt 5.plist" from "HD/Library/Preferences" After that, install normally

Works for me... Mac OS X 10.8.3 Pro Tools 10 AAX and standalone (full version). Did a clean install of Kontakt 5.1[k] (which had AAX then I replaced everything with the cracks from the Kontakt cracks folder (au, vst, rtas, standalone)... It didn't work at 1st. I downloaded and installed the latest service center then repaired the permissions on the 5.2[k] standalone and copied it to my apps folder (over the other one) and everything works.

With this k' files my kontakt 5.2 work, perfect in standalone mode, but in AU (Logic 32x) some libraries had a button "activate" ...but there is not problem, work!
Both kontakt (AU and Standalone) show "Kontakt Player" not "Kontakt", but in the info show me "License Type: Full" like Fraggle83.

Truvald can you upload your .plist file? Because my .plist file with Kontakt 5.0.3 (full, not player) is the same for this version, but nothing change.

Perfect! With Truvlad's (sorry, in other message i call you "Truvald" ) file i have kontakt full...standalone it's ok but in AU 32x some library have "activate" button but work anyway without problem ;)

YES! This works perfectly in Cubase 7.0.5 64bit/ OSX 10.8.4

I clean installed 5.0.3, then simply replaced the VST/Component etc with the 5.2.0v2 ones.

Opens full Kontakt 5.2.0.6361 and ALL libraries are functional.

EWQLSO Gold/ XP PRO/ Storm Drums are all functional, no activation.

After following previous install suggestions I got the stand alone to work fine, but the RTAS crashes ProTools 10, no go with VST and component either - I had to switch back to 5.0.3. Mac Pro running 10.6.8 and ProTools 10.3.5

This error usually happens when you try to load a patch from the "Files" tab when in fact you should install first the library ("Libraries->Add Library" tab) and load the patch from there.

Me too...i use the "Add library" but nothing. And if i restart kontakt (standalone or AU) the library there is not in kontakt

I just overwrited each plug-in by the cracks posted yesterday

and all of them working as you can see =

What about me - It was the same problem with Kontakt 5.1 (x64 - yes, x32 - No)

And for me in this case a start point for update to Kontakt 5.2 was really worked Kontakt Full 5.0.3

I think this crack is unstable if for some reason I have to format my mac and reistall
everything will it work?..maybe.. will all my songs in logic work with kontak 5.2.0 or I will have to
get back to kontakt 5.0.3?..who knows, and that is a very hard process to do,
If you have 5.2 in logic and you save your session that's it, you cannot get back to 5.0.3 unless you do it manually.

I think I will stay with kontakt 5.0.3

If you working in x64 versions of DAW - NO problem absolutely. All working fine.

If you in x32bit - some problems...

works great, get the apple delete app drag old kontakt onto it, it will find all related files, delete them then install new kontakt repair permission and Whola

Tried everything... still trouble (libraries with "Activate" button and K5 Player, not full)... I'm on Mac 10.6.8. Had 5.0.3 working, but now after many attempts I tried to reinstall it (5.0.3) from scratch (after deleting all hidden and non hidden files), but now the Stand Alone shows the "activate" button on all libraries...
Does anybody have a list of ALL files Kontakt installs and where are they placed ?

I had a lot of strange problems too with 5.2, and trying to get back to 5.0.3 too,
libraries disappearing etc etc,
try deleting service center and Mac/library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Service Center too, that fix my problem getting back to 5.0.3 maybe will fix yours,

again 5.2 crack are very unstable,
you never know if something is going to stop working, better use 5.0.3 and wait for a better crack of kontakt 5.2

by doing that the only result I have is that ALL libraries show the activate button in Stand Alone mode...
I hope I'll manage to go back to 5.0.3...

i had 5.1 on my sys and all i did was replace the plugs in the folders and everything works as it did before/should.
havent tried the 32bit versions
