Sylenth1 XENOMMA skin for MAC

DOWNLOAD @

Original made by Xenomma @ deviantART
Inspired by the Pip-Boy 3000.

This is not just a recolour, everything was made from scratch and unlike some of the custom skins out there, this one contains no graphical glitches and is fully functional.

Installation (on a Mac) :

– Make a backup of your AU or VST; save it somewhere

– Go to your Sylenth1 AU or VST component > mouse click
> Show Package Contents > Contents > Resources >

– Replace the "Resources" folder with the new one

– Done!

PC-WiN users can download the dll-file @

Thanks go to Xenomma!

Oops Sorry, posted in MAC section! phones Anyway it's for Mac.

NOTE: If you have difficulties with the low contrast of this skin, you can edit the images using Phothoshop > Auto Contrast. It will make it better for the eyes.

Thanx for this one.

That's a good tip, very effective.

At first I had the same problem as with the purple one (AU validation failed in Logic), I figured what it was: Instead of copying the whole "Resources" folder, just replace the png files. Works like a charm now. wink

I tried a whole bunch of skins, but I'm back to the original only.

When you want to open a old project with another skin used at that time, and offcourse not installed at the moment, our beloved Sylenth wont open... ... ... ... keep it in mind.

I wouldn't check out the matrix look anyway.

@Kookaboo no offense, it's your first share I don't like wink

@ Relexted,

I think that here the trouble is rather due to an 'old' project done/saved with an earlier Sylenth1 version, then attempt to be reopened with a more recent one... rather than purely a problem of skin.

Ex: An 'old' project done/saved with the 'v2.2.0.2', therefore using
the Preset(s) done/saved with this version, then maybe attempt to be reopened with the 'v2.2.1.2'. In this case, your Preset(s) done within
the earlier version won't open... these Presets need to have been created/saved with this new version ('v2.2.1.2') instead...

In my opinion, the images used (either the originals, or customized ones) have nothing to do with the fact to be able/unable to load a Preset within Sylenth1.

That's a bit sad, as the original is not well done! no

no NO, it does not depend on the skin but on the software you have. But it's true that some versions have different image files inside, so the plug-in won't open if you install the wrong skin.

No problem - it's not my creation.

So u guys are saying the latest version of Sylenth will default if u load a project that has been created with a previous version of Sylenth?????? If so that really sucks, I have never updated my Sylenth thats why I dont know about this, but I was just getting ready too. If this is true I'll stick to the same one, I can't not be able to open a track I just did a couple weeks ago.

Can someone let me know whats up with this, please!! Thanks

chrisx etc...

This skin is specifically for Sylenth 2.2, not 2.211 beta.

You can tell very easily by going to bmp10060.png and seeing if it only contains the 'up' preset arrow graphic.

2.211 skins are different because bmp10060.png contains all the states of the preset switch.

I just modified this and the dark pearl skin for 2.211.

I worked this out by simply extracting the original resources for both builds and comparing them...v2.211, the bitmaps are numbered differently to 2.2 from 10060 onward..

I'm not sure about backward compatibility, but the source of anyone's graphic or recall problems are that you are confusing Sylenth 2.2 with 2.211 (correct vers numbering)

Stick to the final 'beta' build, there's not a single reason to be not using it on either platform.

Had the same problem with the PurpleLights skin... just remove the bmp10072.png file, et voila.

Do you now have fully working image files for the mac version?
People have been asking me for a mac version and I haven't had the resources to make it.
Would you be able to send the image files to my email address please: samives(at)live(dot)com

Many thanks.
