Airwindows Bundle AU MAC OSX Intel UPDATE
Airwindows plugins are modular, graphic-less, stripped-down, Audio Unit plugins, for the Mac. They're all coded to work on PPC and Intel processors, because there are a lot of perfectly good PPC Macs out there in studios. They are also all 64 bit- triple binary, i386 / x86_64 / ppc.


The most popular plugins are BussColors2 for modeling SSL, Neve, API, MCI and other mixing desks' tone, Console for expanding 3-D space inside the digital summing algorithm itself, and ToTape2 which is my Studer 810 clone. I also recommend looking into FarSpace3, which is reverb designed to get the spatial/depth qualities of Bricasti reverb, which I consider to be the best kind.

Airwindows' main thing is its ITB mixing system (links at the top of the page will lead you to specific areas of interest). It's built out of generic-interface plugins, which typically focus on doing only one thing, often with very simple controls, labelled to help understanding but not to encourage formulaic work. Airwindows is about listening. It's about the sound being far more exciting than looking at the screen, because that's all your audience will have to go by. If you get good feelings, it had better be about what you hear!

note 1: The 32bit installer includes the 32bit-only plugins. The 64bit installer includes 64bit plugins that also work in 32bit. There are no overlapping plugins in the installers so download both if you want all of the plugins.
