It is inspired by a famous and legendary Synthesizer from the 80's, which a lot of talented guys used as their central Keyboard, including some synths Gurus.

Its a piece of history, maybe the last Vintage Analog Polyphonic synthesizer.
It has a special multitimbral mode, 5 different hi quality and hi character filters, as you could expect from a Xils-Lab synth.
It is MORE than a strict emulation.
It has many additional features compared to its glorious ancester, as you could expect from a modern era synthesizer.

Great, thanks! Some presets are like frozen, un-editable, but half of them arent. Wierd, other than that it all works fine!!

just read the manual. can u be more specific? knobs still don't turn on some presets.

nevermind, got it figured out. some presets have more than one "layers". you first need to select a layer (left of the big SYNTHIX logo), then the knobs work.

i've tried installing this twice with no success. do i have to place .vst and AU components in their relative folders before main installer?

After reading the comments, why would anyone bother with this? Outdated sounds, complicated interface, unreliable, blablabla etc. Does anyone make music or do they enjoy putzing with the details?

no such thing as outdated sounds. just look at how much people pay for their 808's, minimoogs, and jupiter-8's these days.... everybody has their own preference. if we were all using the same gear, making music would be really boring. if u don't like it thats fine, but no point in discouraging others from using it.

copy vst/au files after installation and i believe theres also a .dpm file that needs to go to library/application support/digidesign/plug-ins

This synth is amazing, never heard such hw quality coming from sw before. Im stunned. There are other synths for your preset-browsers if you dont lush for quality like this. :)

Not working for me.
I put the AU and vst where the instruction tell you to put them,but it still comes up looking for a ilok key.
Anyone know what's up with this thing please?

@wikc1d : I know, I'm actually a huge fan of the older stuff. I was trying to make a point about people complaining about the software. Some say it works, some say it doesn't, and some are having a hard time using it. I didn't mean to discourage anyone from experimenting. Hey, if it works for some, cheers! mates
