The Glue is an analog modelled compressor plug-in based on The classic 80's British big console buss compressor with some handy additional features. The compressor action is smooth and transparent as it uses the same high quality algorithms used in circuit simulators, but optimised to run fast. In addition to the regular compressor controls it has: Mix / Range / Sidechain High Pass knobs, External Sidechain support, Peak Clip, and Advanced Oversampling.

Additions include an ultra-fast attack time of up to 0.01mS and a Range knob which backs off the compression to give incredibly natural sounding attacks and limits the maximum amount of compression applied. Also included are external sidechain support and an adjustable side-chain highpass filter.

Anyone having problems with plugins not validating, run terminal commands in this order:

sudo xattr -cr /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/The Glue.component

sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/The Glue.component

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/The Glue.component

I am getting an error in Terminal saying that "No such file or directory exists" when running those commands even though the .component file is there.

I don't need to install the plug in from the CYTOMIC site and then replace that component with the patched one do I? Sorry for the confusion and appreciate any help in advance.

VSTs didn't work for me, Cubase 13 on M2 MacStudio here.

Got these errors when opening Cubase....
β€œThe Glue.vst” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

I'm on MB Air M2 using Wavelab 11.2 VST and I get the same message. Also Wine doesn't seem to want to work on this, my new computer, anyone else have this issue?

Sorry, I don't understand how to do it...
I installed the original DMG from a website and I generate the text file from Wine and 'drag and drop' is not working.

So the Terminal codes from iteevision works with the VST3 in FL Studio :)
For the Keygen i found WhiskeyApp.
I could start the Keygen Exe directly in OSX.
Saving the Auth txt on the virtual desktop from the Whisky app and could transfer it to the mac.

We live in the best time to have a pc :D
