This works great (thank you!), however, there's a bug on several versions of MacOS that keeps Command Tools from working properly after a system update. If you get this message (as I did):
"the codesign_allocate helper tool cannot be found or used" you probably have to reinstall the tools.
This will remove the old version:
sudo rm -rf /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools

This will install the latest version:
 sudo xcode-select --install

awesome stuff!!! i can confirm this all works great in logic 10.5 and mojave ... just one question now.... before i go ahead and delete it ... is there any reason why to still keep guitar rig 5 at all ???

Native Instruments usually allows installs of multiple versions of the same plugin, so keep 5 for compatibility with your old sessions.
