I own a legit copy and it doesn't (Sierra here). In fact, the worst thing I can say about it is, there's apparently a lot of development stuff that the creator wasn't able to do because of his distribution through the App Store, and so, there's a few problems loading with some VIs and plugs. Dunno about this new release (so far, it's crashed trying to load Analog Lab 3 and still won't display Waves GUIs). It's not a bad little app, definitely worth three bucks, assuming the developer can iron out the remaining issues with it. You can also try Apple's AU Lab or Ju-X's Hosting AU, which are both free (and can do more).
