You are correct, sir.
It's more comparable to Native Instruments' Session Guitarist Acoustic Strummer than it is comparable to OTS stuff.

SGAS - A wider variety of chord types, much more customizable sound, etc. Fewer strumming patterns. Takes up more CPU.
Amber - Only the most basic chord types, and only a few customizable things about the sound. Lots more strumming patterns. Takes up less CPU.

In other words, Amber is basically Steinberg's ancient Virtual Guitarist that was discontinued many years ago. This is basically that, but with a fancy GUI and a different developer. Lmao.

Comparing this to Orange Tree stuff is like comparing... erm... apples to oranges (no pun intended). Although Orange Tree's rhythmic strumming is a farce. I NEVER use Orange Tree for strumming or rhythm. In fact, for rhythm, I just play the real thing. I been playing guitar for almost 15 years now. You'll never be able to beat the real thing. If you got the time and patience, just learn to play actual guitar if you want that many possibilities to open up to you. But if you just want simple bread & butter guitar strumming for the background of your music, this is for you.

Another thing to also bear in mind is that the average listener is not going to notice a rhythm guitar in the background. It just makes the song sound different. Kinda adds cushion to the other instruments in the mix. Same goes for bass most of the time. We producers look at songs more critically. We look more in depth to it. It's weird.
The average listener just wants a tune or vibe that gives them the desired feeling they want when the press the play button. Everything else is extra.

Normal people when they listen to music: "Mmmm I love this song. Describes my mood."
Me (a producer) when I listen to music: "Meh. They definitely went too hard on the lows. Not enough high's and mid's. I recognize that arp from a Sylenth1 factory preset. Whoops. There's another arp. Definitely from Nexus2 factory sounds. The synth leads could be louder. Drums need to be quieter. That kick has too much punch. I like how they slipped the acoustic guitar in there. Adds depth to it. But I wanna know how they got those sweeping vocal atmospheres! Damn!"
The normal people: "There's an acoustic guitar in there?" "Wow you must be fun at parties."

You mean they lost authorization and load as trial (expired trial)?
Just VST format load as trial while AU don't? Which plugs?

Anyway, it failed validation initially for me on 10.13.5, I had to "reset and rescan selection"
The demo, not even the crack! This stuff is quite buggish, I don't think it have to do with
the patch, that only replace the RSA keys.
