If you have AU crashes

I got the AU to work in Logic Pro X 10.4.1 by resetting permissions on the standalone app as well as the plugins. Ran the “codesign” Terminal command on the AU. When I started Logic, it stalled on AU scan, but finished booting, went into the Plugin Manager in LPX, and Maschine 3 MX had failed, selected it, did a Rescan Selected, and it’s worked fine since. Hope that helps

I got just on problem with AU crashes and even if I rescan its going to crash =(

1. batchomod
2. sudo codesign -f -s -
in Terminal and then drag and drop the AU form the /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins into the Terminal...
Then rescan in Logic but skip the startup validating abort it and validate it through the plugin validation manager in Logic....Works 100%

I tried but it still not work =( so I used the batchomod on the "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Maschine 2.component" and "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Maschine 2.vst."
After that I open the terminal and typed "sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins"
Then I open Logic and rescan but it crashed...

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Maschine 2.component: resource fork, Finder information, or similar detritus not allowed

reset permissions on the component, then try samuel's solution. copy #2, then paste, leave a space after the last - sign, then drag and drop the component in the terminal window. hit enter, and it should ask for your pw, then it should do it's thing then, voila.

It's not crap and it is working!

You need to reset permissions for the App using batchmod.

Owner: your username, Set check at R W X
Group: wheel: R W X
Everybody: R

Select the following Options:
• Change ownership and priviliges
• Clear ACLs
• Clear xattrs

And finally, most iimportant: select "Apply to enclosed"

Next, run these Terminal Codes (one by one):

sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Maschine\ 2.component
>> Fixes verification issue in Logic. Force Rescan of the Plugin in Logics Plugin Manager!

sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Maschine\ 2.vst
>> For VST-based DAWs, which might crash after reopening a project with Machine inserted with an incorrect signature. This goes for Kontakt and Reaktor too. Especially if you have Maschine running as a Plugin in Logic and let it host Kontakt or other VSTs inside it for some odd reason.

It works for me, it should for you.

PS: Learn to use the tools first…

i manage to make it work the app in standalone and the vst

tried all the tips here, but the AU is still crashing = (

hope a new easier one comes out soon

How did you make it work for vst and standalone? When I try to open the standalone, i'm immediately hit with a can't open error.
