I haven't experienced any of the issues addressed as "fixes", so I don't need this update since they haven't added any actual "features" (i.e; factory sounds and effects)... I suggest everyone who has a functioning copy of O2 NOT use this update unless you may want to introduce problems... just my opinion (and advice).

*Again... I'm on OSX Sierra (and El Capitan) using Logic and have no issues with my current O2. (Just sayin')...

I kept copies of my old install files and the plugin files and I just copied them back over the install of this build and I got my Omni back... both plugins and stand alone..

I got this working:

1) Install update
2) Copy the Omnisphere.component from /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components to your desktop
3) Open Spectrasonics_2048_KeyGen.exe from a previous release
4) Click 'Patch' and navigate to ~/Desktop/Omnisphere.component/Contents/MacOS/Omnisphere
5) Copy component back to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
6) Run Permission Reset or similar on it.
7) Generate serial with keygen if necessary

I did all that. The Problem for me is that Ominsphere 2 does not show a proper challenge key in the activation window. Any idea how to fix this.

My process was:

• Install the App
• Install Update
• Patch Component
• Start Standalone/Plugin
• Set path to Steam Folder on another HDD (from previous installation)
• No challenge code is displayed...
