Thanks a lot. But 1 question. Is it really so hard to pack releases in an adaquate way? A way that you have every neccessary information after extraction. For example a folder named "Synapse Audio DUNE 2 v2.50.0 MAC for protected Soundbanks (PiTcHsHiFTeR-28-12-2015)" + a folder inside named "crack" or "patch" with a txt or nfo file inside that has all the instructions! I dont know how you handle your downloads after installation. But I dont delete them but archive them so if I maybe need to reinstall them later.

I know this would be fiction...but I would definetely set a standard here at Audioz how a release has to be packed. Because its really annoying to collect all release information from the tread and make my own nfo-file just because the releaser is to lazy to do so!

OK..kill me because I didnt opened the dmg file to see the "README!!!.rtf". But this problem is a general one for a lot of releases. The only group that is doing fine is "R2R", "Hexwars", "UNION" and "AudioUtopia"...although even their folder names should include information about the format of the release like "x64 x86 VST RTAS AAX AU etc."
A long but perfect folder name would look like this for example "Native Instruments Maschine 2 v2.2.4 x64 x86 STANDALONE VSTi RTAS AAX Update (R2R-01-04-2015)"

And please be indulgently...but I'm german..rules and structure are the air that we breathe here!

True! Releasers but also developers tend to be *sloppy* nowadays! What i dislike the most is the trend to archive & pack even the smallest data packs into dozens of zips and rars. I.m.o. the best release packages are done by non-Teams, single releasers.

What is the point of this release anyway, if one must have a registered version?.. why the hell couldnt a registered user acquire this themselves?

Using a registered version does not make one a registered user.

This is an addendum to the previous v2.5 release. In this instance, 'registered' simply means K'd v2.5. The developer uses the term 'register' throughout, which is likely the reason Pitchshifter used the term.

The title says version 2.5 but the plugin info says version 2.22.

edit: OK, now I see what's going on. When I bring up the plugin in my DAW, the "about" screen says version 2.5. However bringing up the info box in Finder shows version 2.22. Weird.
