If you ever have used a "VST-HOST" (You can add your VST Instruments and FX in virtual Racks, Combine all and do eg. some Live sessions\Record etc.) -> it's similar like "SaviHost" & Co. but (i found) with a more "Sexy" Gfx-Gui (there is a gimmick inside, you can add a LAMP to spread it where ever over the Rack... )

Far as i see and tested: No glitches here, all sounds smooth & creamy as it should do here ...

(maybe we have to wait for some more user-quotes , who check it some deeper and \ or with various VSTi\FX combinations)

Isn't it worth a couple of months hard work!? All of these releases of you and chaos are no good if we can't have a REAL DAW!!! I would love to buy Cubase and have everything else from R2R come to place, but if I had 600€ I would first buy an acoustic guitar, then mic, then... I am not a cracker, obviously... But... Last time, honestly; are you at least gonna give it a real shot? Or could you explain simply why is hardware protection so hard; if they could imitate dvd drives, can't they imitate this dongle usb!? How can it be so hard...

im also "not really" a cracker and im also doesnt have a guitar, but i have a masterkeyboard with a funny knob called "cutoff filter" , this i use with my deep loved "samplitude pro" , wich is for me : THE DAW!

So... All of your comment is no good , if you can buy a REAL DAW! (i suggest: begin with the guitar, learn hard -> go on the street and make the ppl happy with your guitar , then purchase cubase (or wait of an cracked release, i cant answer you the date for this or why it's so hard to crack )

I take it that this is something you can use to play back vst instruments in a live setting?

EG: If I wanted to use say any of the waves plug ins live, i'd re-route the signal from my laptop to my mixing desk?

To this Fail: i had absolutle THE SAME problem , first time i Start V-Raxtor. It's not Crackrelated, it's simply because of you need's the latest Graphic-Drivers for your GFX-Card (at least Open-Gl 3.3) \ Direct 3D ! See the The V-Raxtor Mainpage "SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS"

- OpenGL 3.3 compatible videocard
(Direct3D10/11 recommended)

(maybe you use a Laptop with a onboard-gfx card , like me ?! - there are no OpenGL3.3 drivers aviable for me, only for lower 2.x versions) - however: after this fail, i try it on my Desktop-PC (wich also have an older GFX Card, but with the latest drivers) and all works directly fine on it!

Yes, indeed my video card is onboard, ati radeon x1200, old like everything in my computer. This is the first audio software that I couldn't run because of my video card. :)) My primary concern was to get a better audio card and now I see this...Audio should be done using ears and audio, not with 3d video cards.

Don't take it to serious (with the first audio soft that...) - I use V-Raxtor since a long time (you have this issue also with the first versions of V-Raxtor) and i agree: it's also to me THE FIRST app who makes trouble because of a older card inside my laptop ... BUT HONESTLY ? -> really all beside this app runs perfect , i use 3D Apps \ Photoshop and audio related Soft without any GFX problems ... i just wanna say with this \ suggest to you:

you should still make it to your 1st primary in getting a better audio card, if music is your first passion! i really doesn't know any other app witch makes trouble like v-raxtor (except the LATEST "Maxon Cinema 4D" who needs also at least OpenGL 3.x)

V-RAXTOR is not really a MUST-HAVE audio app, it's just a nice looking VST-HOST with a lamp - there are many VST-HOST's with the same main features out there who runs also on a cheesy Win98 machine... (so long, to my mind's in that...)

Simply: Yes , you can use a Instrument and also FX Live, but:
I'm not sure if i understand you absolute right (because of my bad English) ... far as i understand you -> i suggest also : take a look on the latest Cantabile , witch is a specialist for live-situations (in his biggest version) - I've already posted the Link here (some post's above) and the developer feature site can bring you sure an answer of the things you plan to do..

I am having the same trouble the other chaps are having, except, I didn`t install V-RAXTOR and I didn`t reboot my system.

Is it possible that not installing this app would be the cause of it not even showing up anywhere on my system???

I`m so confused!?!

this thing is pretty awesome, with a powerful laptop, this thing, and an 8 input firewire interface you can mix a live gig with ease. great idea, this will be the future of live mixing soon. totally stable here. thanks!

Well, I doesn't work for me either. Simply it crashes every time I run the .exe.
The nvidia card on my laptop may be the problem as Tracer said, I guess...
