Ifoundasound is one of the best solutions for working with digital sound archives. Search through your archive, listen to the sounds and drag them in to your favourite audio application. Having your sound archive on hundreds of CDs is unpractical, a much better solution is having the sounds on a hard drive, as audio files. ifoundasound builds an index of your audio files and can search through them at high speed. You can listen to each sound, and copy the ones you like to your work folder or simply drag them in to your editing software. ifoundasound comes i to versions, the free Standard version, and the comercial Professional version.

Not work for me (Windows 7 x 32). Like jaydeejoy I have the same problem: button "get sounds" not work. So this is useless. And the "drop box" has a bug, I think.

melkart... you need to be make following at the first:
CREATE NEW ARCHIVE \ SAVE !

before you do ^^this^^, you cant click on the sounds-tab, it's deactivated , cause the first you need is simply at least ONE new archiv (without making such own archive , i agree yes -> it's totally use and senseless (for the app! ... also *even more* for the user.) ... so to someone's with similar handling probs-> maybe try it with a manual first (also if this tool is near selfexplaining) dunno

The concept is good. the Tag, File Catalog creation , different archive creation, Sample editing, cuting and saving, playing samples with pitch, Tempo and speed editing all is fine.
I'm sure the developer will very fast react to user Suggestions and make it much better.
You can even link this to Your daw or Audio editor.
