Steinberg SpectraLayers Pro v12.0 U2B macOS screenshot
macOS | JULY 2025 | 3.9 GB
SpectraLayers delivers audio empowerment by showing sounds as visual objects. You can explore, reach in, take and transform, working wonders on tasks ranging from repairing and restoring audio to freeform sound design. Unmatched selection tools developed over many years are now joined by new artificial intelligence-driven audio extraction and repair processes, making this the most significant version of SpectraLayers yet.

If you have a previous Steinberg installation, whether Cubase / Nuendo / Dorico / Spectralayers / Groove Agent / Halion.

Then please make a backup of “/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Activation Manager” and the two files it contains.

Then copy the backup folder back there after the installation.

But the easiest way would be.

If you go to the programme folder and select Cubase 14 with a right click and then click on show content.

Then go to the MACOS folder and simply replace the binaries.

Done.

Otherwise install my Sign from Objective See and see if there are any signing errors.

If not, then just enjoy.

Otherwise you have to look again in the Cubsae 12 and or 13 posts. There a member has posted a link with the pure licence files.

Otherwise you have to install the V.R. version.

I tried it, and the Stem Splitter in the current version of Logic is way faster, and sounds better too. I found SL12's unmix modules pretty disappointing on the use cases I tried it on (which worked well in Logic). I think it took 10 minutes to do a song unmix that Logic did in about a minute... maybe others will have better luck with it on their material.
