- New Plugin: [Curves AQ](https://www.waves.com/plugins/curves-aq): the world's first autonomous EQ. AQ is cognitive -- click 'Learn' and it does the rest. It learns your audio, decides what sound it should have and creates 5 unique EQ profiles. Then, you can personalize the sound with 5 reimagined EQ controls.

This is the second release of Waves' Curves Spectral Series, with a third to be released later in 2025. Curves AQ is available as a single plugin, in the [Mercury](https://www.waves.com/bundles/mercury) bundle, or in the [Waves Ultimate](https://www.waves.com/subscriptions/ultimate) subscription.

thats right, soon we just have to add one plugin to fix our mixes so they sound like Billie Elish and no one else, why, can her brother uses UAD and hardware,..you think we will have UAD, pro tools and otehr ilok stuff soon?

says demo mode after the patch on plugins. then reboot and waves plugins not listed. first time that's ever happened. trying again...

I read the installer instructions, installed it three times now, but still in demo mode...all plugins .. Before I had all the waves working without demo.. after this installation everything stays in demo, whatever I try

I tried that.. but when after install all run the patch, I get this all the time

There has been an error.
Error changing ownership of /Applications/Waves Central.app/Contents/Resources/res/external/bin/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle to 0
The application will exit now.

I had the same issue with the V.R patch. Then I tried to use Giuseppe's patch which went through, but I had the plugins in demo mode. So finally I tried the intel only patch - which is also given in the downloaded package - and it worked. I have to add that I use the Pro Tools in rosetta because of some plugins which still have no ARM versions. I should have checked if it would have worked in native, but I missed that (sorry), now it works in rosetta and native as well. I hope it helps...

yeah I would avoid this install, the instruction claim you should create an account to install offline, that makes no sense at all, its like waves created it so they can find your email and send you a bill

used VR patch and worked (Waves Central said connection failed right at the end, (even after using the VR recommended terminal command for that,) but all the plugins work regardless.

i not install all the drivers
and also not the the Soundgrid stuff and Rack
and I aslo delete Soundgrid and Rack folder after install
(Applications, and Application support)

I installed the AQ Curve online then applied the patch. Works no problem on my m2 sonoma.
