macOS (Incl. Team Guseppe / V.R Patch) | 7 April 2025 | 9.6 GB
Waves is the world’s leading developer of audio plugins and signal processors for the professional and consumer electronics audio markets.

April 7, 2025

- New Plugin: [Curves AQ](https://www.waves.com/plugins/curves-aq): the world's first autonomous EQ. AQ is cognitive -- click 'Learn' and it does the rest. It learns your audio, decides what sound it should have and creates 5 unique EQ profiles. Then, you can personalize the sound with 5 reimagined EQ controls.

This is the second release of Waves' Curves Spectral Series, with a third to be released later in 2025. Curves AQ is available as a single plugin, in the [Mercury](https://www.waves.com/bundles/mercury) bundle, or in the [Waves Ultimate](https://www.waves.com/subscriptions/ultimate) subscription.

got an info from the tracker "Found a way out, it worked for me. So: I downloaded the patch from this Waves Audio distribution - Waves V15 {Patch Only} [11.2024] here on ru tracker, then deleted "WavesLicenseEngine" from /Library/Application Support/Waves/Modules and patched it with the patch from this distribution Waves Audio - Waves V15 {Patch Only} [11.20241, everything started working for me" for those who's got a demo access in rosetta

I have tried the patch by Team V.R but now my Mac is starting very slow. It takes about 5 minutes to boot my Mac. Is there a way to undo the patch or any terminal command to make my Mac boot normal again?

quote by soundeal4uI have weird unique problem, and I can't find the answer anywhere: anytime I try to run Curves AQ or Studio Verse I get this message - "Waves Plugins Server Is Unavailable". I installed and reinstall all of the waves multiple times. I used the Patcher. Seems like noone else is having the same issue. Could you anyone please help?

even doing a 100% fresh install and purposely leaving it in demo mode it still gives this error

I finally managed to resolve the issue, and all plugins, including Curves AQ, are now working perfectly!!

CORRECT INSTALLATION METHOD

1. Complete Uninstall (recommended to use a tool like Find Any File): Search for both “Waves” and “Central,” and delete all files related to Waves Audio. Be careful not to accidentally delete unrelated files.

2. Restart your Mac.

3. Put your Mac in offline mode.

4. Install Waves Central.

5. Launch Waves Central, and click Offline Install, then load the “Waves” folder from “1-Installer,” and install your preferred plugins.

6. Once installation is complete, close Waves Central and run the following commands in Terminal:

A) sudo xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

B) sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

C) sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

7. Apply the included patch (I used the “Intel Only Patch”).

8. Restart your Mac.

9. Run “Waves AU Reg Utility 15.”

10. Done.

I hope this method helps someone else solve their problem.

Installed using this method on M1 Pro Ventura with Pro Tools, Ableton and Luna and it's all working flawlessly and natively!

I'm on M4 Sequoia, Logic Pro 11.

I download Waves Central from official Waves site, install Waves Ultimate, run patch, reboot and Waves AU Reg utility found 0 plugins ...

It's probably because step 6 in my post above wasn't followed.

If the WavesLicenseEngine.bundle isn't codesigned, the Waves AU Reg Utility won't be able to detect the plugin.

Hi there, just want to say that if you follow ZZAudio's
procedure/instructions to the letter not changing a thing
you'll get the same result, all of it, 100% guaranteed.
In Logic it might be that some plugs need to be manually validated,
in that case open plugin manager and do that.
Logic Pro 11.1.2
Good on Live 12 and AAX as well, like-a-charm.
Running on MacBook Pro intel, Sequoia 15.1.1

Thanks forever ZZAudio, and all be well.

Tried using both patches. I think it worked. But then I tried using the AU Reg Utility tool. It keeps crashing on me. Any tips on how to fix this?

SONOMA / SEQUOIA / Apple Silicon INSTRUCTIONS (After many tries and hours)

0 - FULL UNINSTALL, Using all Waves Central uninstall options (Complete Waves Clean-UP)

REBOOT

1 - Install "officially" with Waves Central and your account (downloading the installers in Waves Central), DON'T USE DISTRIBUTION FILES OR THE OFFLINE OPTION, FILES ARE CORRUPTED. THIS CAUSES WAVES AU REG UTILITY TO CRASH.

2 Apply any of the two patches (not both)

REBOOT

3. Run Waves AU Reg. Utility.

See if everything is working properly. IF NOT, REPEAT ALL STEPS and use the alternate Patch option.

THIS WORKS. I hope it helps.

I am an idiot.
I’ve tried a bunch of the suggestions here, but I get a connection error when trying to use Waves AQ.

Anyone else?

Thank you in advance.
