Celemony Melodyne 5 Studio v5.4.2.006 U2B Mac [MORiA] screenshot
MORiA | AudioZ Exclusive | STANDALONE | AU | VST3 | 97 MB
Melodyne is a software application which you can edit audio in a more musical way than was ever thought possible. In Melodyne, you work with notes – and not with a meaningless wave form. You don’t just see where the music gets louder or quieter but also where notes begin and end and at what pitch they lie.

Note-based audio editing
Melodyne grants you unrivaled access to all the musical details in your recordings and samples – note by note. This is made possible by a sophisticated analysis that delves deeply into your recordings and samples, and recognizes and understands the musical relationships within them: the individual notes and their characteristics, the scales, keys and chords, the timing, the tempo, the tone color. And with Melodyne you can edit all these things intuitively. With vocals, but every type of instrument as well – including polyphonic ones, such as the piano and guitar.

Notes and tools
In Melodyne, notes are represented by blobs. By manipulating these with Melodyne’s powerful tools, you can edit (among other things) the pitch, vibrato, volume, sibilants, length, timing and formants of each note. In this way, you can enhance in a musical yet straightforward manner the intonation, phrasing, dynamics and timbre of a performance. While ingenious algorithms ensure your editing’s almost always inaudible, sensitive, natural.

Why Melodyne is better
That Melodyne sounds so good and is so simple to use is based on two things. The less important is the technology.
The decisive factor is its understanding of the music.
Melodyne identifies the notes and the relationships between them. It is only as a result of this knowledge that Melodyne’s algorithms are able to β€œthink” and operate in such a musical way. The benefits to you as a musician and producer include the famously superior sound of Melodyne and many other advantages that software lacking this understanding of musical contexts is incapable of offering.

New in Version 5.4.0

The update to Version 5.4 contains improvements and bug fixes, which is why we recommend it to all users.

Pro Tools and Cubase with ARA: When opening a project with Melodyne, crashes sometimes occurred.
Pro Tools with ARA: Deleting a clip from a stereo track with Melodyne ARA during playback sometimes led to a crash.
All versions under Windows: In the event of a faulty connection with the Celemony server, a crash sometimes occurred.
Studio One with ARA: When using the Fade Tool or closing a session, crashes sometimes occurred.
ARA: Opening a second tab after opening the Sound Editor sometimes resulted in either a blank user interface or a crash.
Stand-alone implementation: Under macOS, invoking the Undo function during a copy operation sometimes led to a crash.
Stand-alone implementation: Crashes sometimes occurred when activating Melodyne.
Stand-alone implementation: The command β€œSave and Replace Audio” sometimes resulted in a crash when the audio file being edited was at the same time being used and played back in a DAW.
Trial version of Melodyne: Interrupting activation under Windows sometimes led to a crash.
All versions: In the Japanese user interface, an incorrect localization for β€œSibilant Handling” was displayed in Note Assignment Mode.
ARA: The ARA mode is now also displayed correctly in the β€œAbout Melodyne” window.
Stand-alone implementation: Activating the record-enable function via the track view in the Note Editor had no effect on the track pane, where the Record Enable button remained grayed out.

Still no AAX for the last 4 update versions. Will this ever become a reality in future release? Thanks for the share!

Probably hasn't been K'd because of the checksum built into Pro Tools and because Melodyne uses the *.bundle files to check for license which is shared with VST3 and AU it's not possible to K the AAX. Shame, because PT implementation of ARA2 is kind of game changing with Melodyne
y'all got anymore of those plugins??

Aren't the plugins just a bridge to the standalone app, or did that change in more recent versions? And if that is the case, wouldn't just loading an instance of the AU or VST3 in Blue Cat Patchwork AAX inside of Pro Tools be just as effective?

ARA2 doesn't work when Melodyne is loaded in Blue Cat Patchwork, although Melodyne works really well in Pro Tools with Blue Cat Patchwork. And no, the plugins are not a bridge. The standalone app is a wrapper for the plugin (I believe the VST3)

Intel or ARM?
when you say "still", you mean that you had already that problem with previous versios?

I've just installed the previous version over M2 + Sonoma + Live 12 (AU) and no problems here...

what's wrong with this version? I have no problems running it on Logic Pro 11 on M2

It freezes my entire computer when I want to select the amplitude or fade tool, etc. Really when I right click anywhere or select a different tool from the selection at the top too. Running it in Rosetta is the only fix which sucks

M3 silicon + Sonoma 14.7.1 + Logic Pro 11.1, Even the legit trial version from the site does it it seems like

I noticed that the problem is not with melodyne but with logic x 11.1. Using melodyne with Pachwork in Protools works perfectly.

Working great on Mojave, as always. My main issue is with the waaaaaay over-usage of the password to decrypt everything, I get using a password to download from your servers, I maybe even get having to initially unlock the .dmg with the password. But by the time I had to unlock the actual installer with it every time I opened it, I was also encountering "corrupt files" and other things that almost made me throw this away. I was finally able to copy the installer from the .dmg and all is good, but I humbly request slightly less password protection next time.
