Intelligent delay for clear mixes. Sculpt your space with beat-synced or time-based delays, ping-pong and reverse delay modes, vintage pitch drift, width control, and an adjustable unmasking section. Wave goodbye to long plugin chains and tedious routing. Find your flow fast with Cascadia’s intuitive controls. Keep your mixes clean and focused without distracting delays. Cascadia reacts to your audio and dynamically creates space in the delay signal, keeping your instruments and vocals present in the mix without complex routing and long plugin chains.

iZotope: Let's put soothe as sidechain on the output of wet signal in our every basic plugin and make lots of money because people are lazy to do it manually.

iZotope Sucks!

- 8% CPU (Cubase Pro 14 on a Macbook M2 Pro)
- over 20ms latency

My highest quality analog modelled delay I use is from Moog and takes less than that.

Same with Aurora!

- 10% CPU - for a single reverb → unacceptable ! My best reverbs (Seventh Heaven Pro, Cinematic Rooms Pro, Relab Lexikon 480 all take between 2% and 3% !!!!

There is the side chain ducking, fair. But I have set up my template so that all FX returns are routed into an FX Aux where I can put Soothe or Trackspacer or SmartComp on it → WAY less CPU and more effective.

you can use this as an insert effect, and still tame with the automatic sidechain. Depending on your daw, a lot harder to setup, if you even can.
  Member 28.11.2015 259

No need for that. Just use reverbs as sends as usual followed by Soothe or Trackspacer for ALL FX returns.

8% 👀

so 12 will max your computer out? doubtful
I just turned on 112 of them and playback just fine...other than that, upgrade to a m4max lol

Indeed!

I ALWAYS run the same tests. You need to insert as many plugins in SERIAL until you either maxed out your insert slots OR your audio starts to drop out. (Need to do this with actual audio file running).

I run the tests at 2048 samples buffer size and ASIO guard max (Cubase Pro 14).

I can only load 12 plugins until my cpu breaks.

i test mine at 64 or 128 b/c it gives me more stress on the computer rather than something high like 2048.
crazy that 12 max out a m2 pro, are you in rosetta mode in c14 or apple silicon. i could do at least 150 but im on a m4 max

There are several things you have to be aware of when doing such tests:

1. Activate the parameters in the plugin. If the plugin does not do anything, it usually takes way less cpu.
2. Run audio through it and press play. Plugins may turn idle to save cpu.
3. Put them in SERIAL! Of course, an M2 Pro would run much more than 12 plugins in parallel. But that's not how you find out how much cpu one plugin takes.

I use Cubase Pro 14 natively.

last week i did a test with a youtuber, had 600 irc4 ozone 11 maximizers on it was only about 70%. ended up with over 700 when i gave up

i maxed it out with 515 Pro L2's but at 32x oversampling!!!
id never imagine running 2-3 at 32x but 515 was crazy and that was in logic! nuendo is far more optimized than logic plus logic doesn't utilize efficiency cores
yet 256 aurora's max out my macbook sheesh

aurora without a doubt eats more cpu than ozone 11!
just turned on 258 of them to peak my laptop, had over 500 ozone 11s with all modules active that didn't get to 60% and over 700 irc4 ozone 11 maximizers that didn't max out the cpu.
aurora doesn't sound good enough to be taking that kind of power. maybe later updates they'll optimize it b/c ozone 11 is far more efficient

At this point, iZotope gives a shit about optimization and updates. The reverb plugins from iZotope takes even more cpu. It's a joke. Hope they go broke.

Excuse me. Usually Moria releases are smaller than retailers, why this one is more than double? Didn't tried yet, but thanks anyway, it's not a complaining, just would like to know why

Works on Catalina though it's not officially supported.
Izotope is making it quick and easy to do the things that some people are complaining they'd rather do in a much more complicated way.
I dunno, whatever
It's a really nice delay though.
Thanks M.

Hope it will probably run even under Mojave then,
any comments about that are welcome, to know ...

looks a bit distracting for a delay..

Haha, I thought the same, in the video too much delay is pretty distracting. I prefer the "before" version. =DDD

Btw, all companies know about this place, it's not a hidden secret anymore, as they do gain business! I actually spent more than $300 on different software and plugins this holiday, after testing them here first.

not working properly, vst3, when you minimize and reopen, half of the visual (gui) is missing. and AU doesn't work
