SpecCraft is a next-generation dynamic resonance suppressor, spectrum compressor, and smart EQ. It specializes in eliminating the greatest enemy in your mix: unwanted resonances. Whether it’s harsh shrills or muddy booms, SpecCraft identifies them all and dynamically applies matching suppression at each and every audio frame.

But wait, there’s more! SpecCraft not only helps you 'seek and destroy' resonance problems but can also fill the void left behind by generating real-time spectrum compensation curves, ensuring no dynamics loss or artifacts due to resonance suppression.

With SpecCraft, your mix stays clean, balanced, and full of life from start to finish.

I installed this onto Catalina and it seems to be working perfectly.
I first downloaded the demo from Three Body Tech and installed to make sure the preset folder path etc is correct.
Then dragged the cracked au into the components folder and selected 'replace'.
Once in place I dragged it onto the free Permissions Reset app from Ohanaware.
No need for terminal tampering.

another attempt to replicate soothe2? It's easier to record a new track (guitar or vocal) than tweaking those 12 control knobs (IMHO). On the other hand playing around with this plugin for awhile would not hurt much anyway, I guess.
Thanks for the upload.

P.S.
Actually it's not that bad. Got a chance to play a bit with this thing.

Gullfoss came before Soothe, I have both, they have different applications. I find that Soothe2 can go from not enough to too much quickly. Mastering engineers are compiling that mixes have too much Soothe, so if something can do a better job I welcome it. I avoid Waves if possible. tools like this never existed back in the day, they weren't need too, so its a change in methods creating harshness, or possibly not needed at all & people use Soothe because it exists.

and probably those new tracks would carry over the same problems if there was one.

Believe me, I'm not a huge fan of these dynamic resonance suppressor wave of plugins, as I try and get it right first and use my ears... but I can see their use applied correctly and judiciously.

But I know if Led Zeppelin or Nirvana or whoever used them in the way they sell them as some kinda panacea to all problems, .... well, those records would not sound like they do, and in a bad way more likely then not.

I'm glad there are cheaper options to solving some problems then what Soothe2 asks for..

but I am not slapping this stuff on every track as some of them, and whoever or however it is used, can suck the life out of a track.

and somehow we made records for decades without this kinda mystic tool ffs you know?

(and by that, I do not mean to say I am not grateful for the share and iamdumb's work, as they do fine work on these things...)
..grateful for HCiSO, HEXWARS, R2R, GUISEPPE , CASHMERE & ALL teams, AZ crew past and present, and friends I have met here . RIP and LOVE to Olymoon and his family. 8647.

Hello, greetings, works like charm, AU tested on:
Intel i5, MacOS Sierra 10.12.6, with Ableton Live Suite 10.1.43 and Logic Pro 10.4.4.
Three-Body Tech Spec Craft worked very well.

Thanks for all team "iamdumb" and "keldy"

I am on Catalina (Logic 10, Live 11, Bitwig 5) and so far the plugin (AU and VST3s) and presets work without the terminal commands or anything else.
Thank you very much!

SpecCraft is easy to use and has a simple workflow.
Each tool has its own use and success depends on you and how you use it, not on the tool itself.
Every era and age may have uses, customs, and therefore different tools

This may sound obvious, but it's worth remembering that we often make distinctions between labels and categories by assigning responsibility to objects instead of ourselves.
If paedophilia is just an orientation issue, then burying you all is just a matter of gardening...

Just tested this properly and I can see why it's useful.
You can slap it on anything using the default preset and pull the little threshold bar down a touch.
Turn the adaptive control up full.
For quick results it's really good.
I had a very roomy spoken word thing that had a nasty room resonance embedded in the sound.
Difficult to remove with de-room plugins etc but this has actually resolved it while still keeping the original tone of the voice.
It removed the resonance but still left some room sound there.
That's quite impressive.
I'm not a purist when it comes to these things and am always happy when plugins help me speed up my sessions.

Works fine on Catalina 10.15.7.. No patching or terminal commands were required. Presets, profiles and themes folder should be copied to your Username > Library > ThreeBodyTech > Specraft

Tried everything that was suggested here and it didn’t really work for me. It doesn’t show up in my plugin list on LUNA, Sonoma M2. Not even just the demo version which is weird… It shows up on Logic but not on Luna so I’m wondering if there's a DAW incompatibility which is a shame if it does…
