Thanks to all involved. Just wondering, if this any use for teaching you how to play? has anyone any experience with it for learning from beginner? Can it load any Tab track and teach you the basic chords etc? Cheers guys.

Yes, this is one of the quite useful tools learning playing guitar or other instruments like piano. It allows you to play basic scales, chords etc., change tempo and pitch as you need. You can download some basic exercises for beginners from Guitar Pro site. Also internet is full of free Guitar Pro files, if you search. For the more advanced beginner or further player there hundred thousands of song interpretations (Ultimate Guitar etc.). Also if you subscribe Guitar Pro's MySongBook website they have quite accurate scores of many popular songs, so you can learn guitar parts, then mute off the guitar part and play with the accompany. (Beware you cannot download or save MySongBook files, you have to be online).
