Would you plz specify some bugs so i can see if i'm a power user. In my workcase the VST and filesystem scan is a pitty, i would prefer an invidual and optional userscan.
Otherwise i found some improvement but no Bugs.

it crashes when loading ableton live 7 projects.
when you load a project, vsts without gui, live doe not show the corresponding units, like hz, miliseconds. it show values from 1 to 128. when you first load a vst plug without gui it shows the units, it only fails when you reload the project.
I have deleted all my AU plugins from the au folder. they keep showing on the browser, but when i add them it says that it cant start the plug (obviously). They should not show up in the browser, since i have deleted them. I did a plug rescan and they keep showing up.
if you load a project from live 11 in 12 that has the mixer inputs and outputs in the arrangement view, there is now way to hide the ins and outs, because the buttons that used to do that are gone from the arrangement view.
once an audio tracks stopped playing and i could not figure out why, i saved the project, reloaded and the audio was back. there are many more that i have forget. unfortunately i can't report these bugs because i don't own ableton live and they only give support and allow bug reports from users that have a license. makes sense, of course. i am also a bit tired of reporting bug to companies, because
every software or hardware that i buy comes with bugs that no one else seems to find. it has to do with workflows. But still, anyone knows a way i can report these bugs ? i don't think that a live lite license will entitle me to have support. if yes, can someone get me a live lite license ?

Guys is it stable and what about cpu usage ? Also have they changed the browser in vst3 ? I use DB Browser in order to name my vsts etc since vst3 support thats why i ask .

Looks like this high CPU usage is something we have to put up with. They are lazy and prefer the user to buy a more high spec pc instead of trying too bring that down find the cause and fix the issue and I dont think buying a new high spec pc will help either I have an i9 Intel 10th Gen cpu but its still high

for anyone having high cpu usage like me with Ableton 12 try all these tips from this page link it really does work:-

It helped me a lot especially runing the intel driver support, it found it was out of date I installed new with delete old drivers clicked it worked a treat also changing the intel options since doing it Ableton 12 runs much more efficent and I have now a 6% lower difference on my cpu load meter than before. Changing the power options helps alot, if you read the whole article and do as it says it really does work and I dont even need the Asio4all drivers anymore it sounds so much more better with the new genuine audio update

CPU usage much better than 11, faster scans too.

plugins can you tag now, works much better than the previous browser

Not sure about this version but 1.0 - R2R is very stable and CPU usage seems better than Live 11. The new browser is no big deal once you realize that the creator tags are primarily just the plugin folders displayed in a new way that you can then customize any way you want, if you even want to.

If you used the R2R method, then this updates from Ableton fine, no re-authorisation necessary. It downloads the update.
close the program
it updates the folder.
and that's it, start it up, everything is good.

with the R2R version, I had to have Live open when I ran the keygen to get the auth file to work when I dropped it in. Hope that works.

for me its not working...it works only when i right click on sample and the select reverse the clip option
