Thats super super super great.

A couple Years ago i could Test the HArdware Unit against this Plugin.

Conclusion: To get the same Sound out of the Plugin like the HArdware you need to tweak the Settings 15-25 % harder.

But when you operating at the very End. Hmm the Plugin loses then. But in the middle and Top End is nearly the Same behaviourr like the HArdware.

MAybe 7,5% to 10% more on the Input and the same amount more on the Output.

You have to push the KNobs a little bit further than you would do on the Hardware Unit.

This is a good example about the difference between HArdware and Plugin Version. Digital to Analog

Plugin calculates everytime the Same, where the HArdware can bring in this hidden random Moment.

You can bring this BEhaviour to the Plugin with Automation. +- 5% on a Knob of your Choice.

its the SIP from MAC. go to privacy & security in your system settings and it'll say that it was blocked because its from an unidentified developer. You click open anyway, and it will install like normal.

it's not because of SIP. it will do this even if you have SIP disabled.

But it works anyway. Codesign it just in case.

VST2 is now finally an extinct format. Like Intel with Apple.

Now that all other creators have finally completed the transition to VST 3 in 2023
There is no longer any need for VST2

I have used the hardware a fair bit and it does retain the ability for transparency that the original has. The RMS /PEAK setting wrks really well
